I feel nothing one way or the other for the Lions but it does rustle me when a very black and white penalty is called and fans are saying it is a phantom penalty. Was the facemask intentional? No. Was it severe? No. Did it have a possibility of injuring Aaron? No. Was it a penalty? Yes.

So then if you're willing to call that a facemask on the last play of the game, a ballsy time to call a penalty which rarely ever happens, then can I be outraged at the blatant no holding call? I'm going to be mad at the refs because either way they fucked up. If you're going to give a soft penalty like that and then not give a blatant one in return there is something wrong.
Also you don't seem to understand that I've pretty much become immune to blaming the Lions. Its the tale of two halves with them, it has been for years, I don't expect more and I don't expect less. I do blame Caldwell though, dude is the biggest pussy in the league.

Not even the NFL says it was a penalty. They just said it really looked like one so don't blame them that they're refs are so shitty they'll call it every time.

You know what? Don't want to lose the game then don't let them catch a 70 yard pass in the end zone. Maybe should of pushed one or both of those defenders 30 yards away from anyone else to the line of scrimmage or end zone. Maybe not let 3 offensive players sit in front of you while they wait for the ball.

I'm pretty sure most NFL QBs can throw it 65 yards. You really don't see it outside of Hail Mary passes for obvious reasons, but the record's supposed to be 80+ yards

Anyone who doesn't think that play looked like an obvious facemask in real-time is delusional. Lions' player caught his mask for a split second and Rodgers sold it like a pro. He's been "playing" a straight man for years, so he's obviously a good actor. What are you gonna do?
