Ahhh memories.. tied for 2nd favorite Niners memory of all time. Hard to choose between this one and the Alex Smith to Vernon Davis throw. Young to TO was the last great moment of a dynasty.

Yeah, it's too bad TO didn't get there until Steve Young was basically retired. Rice and TO in his prime would've been insane.

Just watched Inside the NFL for the first time in forever. I never realized Boomer Esiason was the spitting image of Phillip Seymour Hoffman. The mockingjay people should have considered bringing him in for the reshoots.

Whats sad is TO was actually a ptp'er. He would not only show up for a ho hum reg season match-up but he had a knack for coming through in big game situations. As much as a pussy he was he was maybe the 6th or 7th greatest WR of all time.

(Rice, Irvin, Carter, Megatron, Largent were probably better but you are hard pressed to rank TO any lower than that.)

How does Megatron get top 5 billing?
Well maybe im a bit partial because he just retired but his numbers are outstanding almost 800 rec for 12k yards and 80 something touchdowns in what, 8 seasons? He came out of GTech in like 07 no? He been in the league less than a decade i believe. Who would you put ahead of him? Randy Moss probably deserves to be ahead of him and perhaps Don Hutson but Megatron def top 8 imo.

How is randy moss not up there?
Yea Im biased towards moss but i did concede you would have to rank him ahead of Johnson. Moss was a homerun hitter who was actually more dynamic as a young player than a veteran. Carter, Irvin, Rice, Largent, and Tron were not only durable motherfuckers who could catch small stuff for dirty yards but they can beat you over the top too like Moss.

Hutson played in ancient times but look him up dude was a savage.

Moss when he cared was just unstoppable. That game he had vs Dallas as a rookie he only had 3 catches total for the game, and they totaled for 163 yards and all 3 catches were touchdowns. Just ridiculous.

My greatest TO memory is him showing up for the Eagles in the Super Bowl just two weeks after breaking his leg or whatever and having a great game. Would have won if McNabb hadn't choked, goddamn McNabb. So good for so long and then shits the bed in his biggest moment.

TO was a monster, and I would not be surprised to see him go to the Hall over Harrison. I think he certainly belongs in the conversation about the greatest receivers of all time, even if it is only the outer edges. Harrison's greatness is tied inextricably to Peyton; TO was great no matter who was throwing him the ball.

Maybe the most raw talent of any wide receiver ever. Moss could do things that no one else could do. His timing for going up to get deep balls even while covered was just unreal. He didn't have the size to do certain things that other guys could, but I don't see how Moss can rank any lower than top 5 all time.

I remember I was watching this game and had to double take like 3x on this catch. Beckham esque, body was going one way, ball the other and was behind him. Dude was unreal.

This one is easy. It's the Space Jam debate. If aliens invaded and we had to win one football game...

My starting WRs are Rice and Moss. End of story.

RBs would be Bo and Jim Brown btw. Just stirring the pot...

Tim Brown? Marvin Harrison?

P.S. TO was a dropper.. He actually led the league a few times in dropped balls.

I think I'm a Cam Newton fan. Mostly because he's become more than a run-first flash-in-the-pan QB.

I'd actually consider wagering that he's next year's MVP as well.
