I wouldn't call him terrible, but defenses not having megatron to cover might impact his numbers.

I disagree. I would be very disappointed in any team I like taking a back in the first two rounds. There are a few guys that truly are better than everyone else (Peterson), but you are just as likely to get a Richardson going early. Rushing is all about the play calling and the offensive line. Picking up a quality lineman will do more for your run game than any running back
It depends on the guy. I don't think most drafts will have any RB's worth picking in the first 2 rounds anymore. Guys like a Peterson (and what Gurley looks like so far) are the exception to the rule for me.

Shit happens, Andre Johnson's career was pretty much wasted too. Whatcha gonna do?

Sounds like Johnson made the decision at the end of last year when the Lions had gone 11-5.

I doubt he left because the Lions are shitty. Fans are just lazy and stupid and love easy narratives.

Probably true but he was willing to give it one more go when the team was looking really good. The Lions being shitty and having 2 winning seasons during his time there made it pretty easy to decide. Feeling like shit the last couple years topped it off.

There's a difference between eliminating an outlier because it doesn't accurately represent the facts vs disregarding 20% of the data because it doesn't fit your narrative.
It's not 20%. It's like people in this thread can't understand basic math or math concepts. The 4-12 season is an obvious outlier.

Either way it had nothing to do with my narrative which was making fun of Pats fans because they had the same divisional record as the Bills...

Barry Sanders probably told him to come on in, the water is fine.

So if any one else watched the Senior Bowl, it pretty much solidified Noah Spence being a beast. Unblockable all week in practice also from reports, he dominated everyone on OL who tried to block him come gametime. Too bad he wont make it to us so we can replace failure of Jarvis Jones....well, assuming teams forget about his drug shit that got him kicked out of Ohio State and landed him at Eastern Kentucky....but it seems he cleaned himself up.

Maybe this year will be one the Steelers actually trade up for an elite secondary target...would be nice.

I'll be completely honest. While I certainly recognize the decrease in quality of play on those Thursday games, I'd still rather have a game to watch on Thursday nights than not have it.

So, who else is excited for the Panthers to finish the greatest 18-1 season ever?
