Nah, even Jerry won't touch that. Their most recent head case was arrested again as well as it being found out he was betting on sports during the season (but not football it seems).

I'm assuming it was a lot of money he was gambling...otherwise not sure why it's even a story. Sports betting isn't some rare vice.

So, who else is excited for the Panthers to finish the second greatest 18-1 season ever?

The NFL takes a hardline stance on sports betting but it appears that was the straw that broke the camel's back, once the Cowboys found out. They offered him help, he refused, they released him.

Mental issues are a serious deal, hope he gets help, but he has to want to get help.

I know, I had to hold back tears of laughter while writing it, but here's the official statement:

According to league policy, the "NFL opposes all forms of illegal gambling, as well as legal betting on NFL games or other professional, college or Olympic sports. Such activity negatively affects the interests, welfare and integrity of the NFL, its games, clubs, players and coaches, and diminishes public confidence in legitimate sport."

The fact that a former backup RB apparently bet on college basketball is a top news story less than a week from the Super Bowl means the 2 week break is fucking stupid.

It doesn't breed hype as much as boredom.

God damnit now it's more likely Jones will waste a high draft pick on a qb in a weak qb draft. They really need to just keep Moore as the backup and draft someone like Bosa, Ramsey, Jack, or even Treadwell.

If Romo goes down for the season again, they're done no matter who they draft. But, if he's out a couple of games and Moore has an NFL caliber receiver or two to throw it to or a defense that shows up for 4 quarters then he can keep them in the playoff hunt.

Then again I'm a Redskins fan so not sure why I care so much
