i thought Norv was retiring after this year? My guess is he was telling them what they needed to hear but didn't want to, like UT said. That and probably the realization that you can't unfuck the situation

Apparently Norv's kid (Scott) is staying the QB coach. Which means there's a limited amount of bad blood there, and now makes me think it was just Norv saying "I am too damn old to deal with this mess of no offensive players I planned on".

Forgot to quote you Famm but, Norv is a good OC not HC, there are plenty of teams that could use help at coordinator even as a consultant.

Sure, but you mentioned the Rams and just sticking him under Fisher probably won't help!

Well I mentioned it wont ever happen because Fisher has such an ego that he would never admit his OC and offensive philosophy is horrible.

That, and if Norv ever helped them reach 10-6...it would probably kill Lich King Fisher.

Fisher is the holder of balance, the only thing keeping the Old Ones from awakening and devouring the world.

5. Rod Marinelli is the best D-coordinator in football. Despite how much Sean Lee gets his dong sucked by the announcers, Dallas does not have a A-rated player on defense, yet they are still a top 10 defense this year.

I'm late to gloat at iggles fans, so i won't do that. But I have a question for anyone who watched the game. I noticed at least twice when a cowboy linebacker (wish I'd noticed who it was) seemed to be calling the play pre-snap. He was pointing somewhere, then they snapped it, and lo and behold the play went right there. I don't know what that means. Is it patriots level interecepting of playcalls type shit, are the eagles that fucking predictable, or is marinelli really preparing his guys so well that they know what's coming? I know at lower levels you can read the offensive line pre-snap and know what they're going to do, but I figured by the time guys got to the pros, they wouldn't be giving those tells anymore.

Anyway, I've been mostly off the internet for a couple weeks, so I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone else had noticed that or been talking about it.

Similar issue happen with redskins. We were predictable. When your QB is getting sacked on 2nd down like we were that game, your play calling it too predictable. Sad part is it probably has less to do with Wentz and more to do with our WRs who run a lot of the wrong routes.

Claiming the Cowboys are competent enough to steal plays is like claiming the government is competent enough to pull off 9/11. It is a stretch, for the sound of mind.

Sean Lee watches a ton of film and we can hope that the other LBs are in there with him. The truth is probably closer to the plays being simple and the personnel not allowing them much in the way of variety. What was the stat? Wentz didn't attempt a single pass over twenty yards? Way to limit your offense.

Cowboys are beyond competent this year. They're the real deal.

Your MVP Matty 'ice' Ryan. If he keeps this up, no one will even be close.
