Well Wombat, I guess your Packers were so bad even our inability to win games by more than 1 score was erased.

Whats left of the team has long since checked out on McCarthy, for certain. Why our conditioning people have not been fired years ago always baffles me. We have one of the worst injury track records in the league and THE worst by far among non-dome teams.

Fuck Gio Bernard with a torn ACL. May have lost both Green and Bernard for the season in one game in what was already looking like a lost season. Now Gio probably won't even be himself until 2018.

For someone who was a bitch and wouldn't take a ban bet..You sure like to talk about it a lot.

You mean when you challenged Burnem and he accepted then you cried and ran away? Or the one I agreed to a while ago but then amod wouldn't enforce because you already had a ban bet so we made the avatar one?

Anyways, Collinsworth is trying real hard to make this game mean more than it should for the Redskins

Actually putting a team away is important, as is improving our horrific record in primetime games.

Also when Dallas/Giants/Vikings/Lions/Tampa all win (which affects division and wild card), plus losing tonight would bring Green Bay within a half game of us...it was important.

Pretty much Ravens v. Steelers for the North. That Christmas Day game could be the whole year.

I mean making it seem like the fact that they got it going against a 3rd string defense means their offense is taking it to the next level

Can buy. Although aside from red zone efficiency our offense has been there all year. Obviously Dallas is a much better team than they were in Week 2, but if Cousins throws the ball like this in that game (more important, actually sees the wide open guys deep in that game), we put up 40+ easy.

Just left the bar after watching the awesome Skins win. Got on the DC metro and found a gigantic bag of unopened(I think) Chinese carry out. Tso's Chicken and other shit. Ate all of it. if it kills me tomorrow at least I will die happy.

uncog I feel that was a poor decision.

Feeling high scoring game Thursday. Biggest concern is Zeke going for 200+. No, really. Our offense has to be able to give our D some breaks, or the D is going to need to get some big negative plays (see: sacks) or turnovers.

Having the SNF game is going to haunt you on Thursday. Almost guarantee the defense will be sluggish and the offense will probably be off. It cannot be understated how much keeping a normal sleep schedule helps recovery from games AND you guys have to fly down to Dallas. On a normal week everything would be okay but you're basically only getting two days to recover.

Meanwhile Dallas was home in time for dinner and will get three full recovery days. I will be very surprised if they don't run all over you and Dak has his best game of the year.

Edit: Dallas doesn't have a single game they can possibly dial it back a bit the rest of the way. Every game is with a team that is currently .500 or better. They drop either of these next two games, and NYG goes 2-0 for the same span, then that contest on 12/11 basically ends up being for the Division.

Yeah schedule makers did us no favors. Don't forget if we somehow manage to beat you guys on Thursday (I know, impossible, mighty Cowboys), we'll only be a game and a half back. We also play the Giants final week of the season and already beat them once. It's a little weird not having to worry about any tiebreakers unless Arizona beats us in 2 weeks and has a bit of a comeback down the stretch. Ties are weird.

If it were a Sunday game then I'd put the chances of it being a normal NFCE game as fairly high. As in, highly contested and chippy, down to the wire. But coming off that late game I have a hard time seeing Washington not fading as the game goes on. While not nearly as egregious as what the schedule did to Dallas in 2014 (SNF game on road, then Thanksgiving), the lack of meaningful recovery time, coupled with the need to fly down, is going to take a toll both physically and mentally. We'll see. If Dallas does what it has been doing against suspect rushing defenses (and Washington is rated pretty low on that scale, 30th according to Football Outsiders as of last week), then they may run away with it and heavy legs will set in for the Washington Defense.

When we used to do that in Dallas, we'd get in for $10 a person easily. We just had to be willing to miss kickoff and seat surf because the seats wouldn't be together. Anquan gets desperate once they kick off.
