Holy shit those 2 missed FGs must hurt after losing by 5. Especially with the way the redskins iced their own kicker on that first one. Was there a reason given for that timeout? Too much noise where I was, so if the announcers told us, I missed it.

Skins beat us in TOP, yards, and pretty much every stat except the score. Another sloppy game by the rookie QB, but he managed to pull it out.

Morgan Moses (RT) wasn't on the field for the field goal formation and the play clock was almost at 0 when he tried to get onto the field. I guess they figured burning a timeout was the smart play instead of just taking 5 yards and making a ~43 yard FG into a ~48 yard FG.

Of course, ended up icing Hopkins anyways.

Yeah the 2 misses hurt, but the game probably plays out differently if the score is that different from halftime on. Maybe Gruden doesn't try and onside kick with over 9 minutes to go in a one score game, for instance.

I remember when the Ravens gave Joe Flaccid a monster contract and haven't been relevant since.

Winning a playoff game in Pittsburgh and then giving the Pats a tougher test than anyone else in the 2014 post season could was sooooo irrelevant.

One could argue Seattle gave them a pretty big test in the Super Bowl, but your point is still valid.

I'll leave this here in case some of yall need it. You can probably use the same form to be a multi-team faggot.

Also, I recommend writing in "Forever (this time I mean it)" under 'Duration'.

There should be an E. Bears or Browns fan. I won't shit on those people they've suffered enough.

They definitely did, man that ending still pisses me off. Can't imagine being a Seattle fan, I was salty enough just as a Pats hater. Still, sucked seeing Ravens almost pull it off in NE giving them a real competitive game and then watching the Colts bumble fuck their way to embarrassment.

Colts were easily the worst team of the final 4 in AFC that year. If Manning had been healthy (he started out like world beater first 6-8 weeks of the season until he got banged up) Denver would have beaten them easily. As it was, Ravens would have killed the Colts in the AFC title game had they beaten Pats.

I actually didn't mind the Super Bowl result, hate both teams but I had 8-4 Pats box in our pool. Won $150 on 4th quarter.

Russell Wilson sure doesn't get the hate a lot of other QBs would have in the same situation. I get that the play call was pretty bad, but he still threw the INT in the end zone of what was one of the biggest chokes in NFL history.

Honestly I still think to this day the guy just made a great play. They have this great freeze frame right when he's releasing the ball and it looks pretty open. Just looking at that pic you assume the worst that happens is he drops it for an incomplete, probably a TD with the natural pick in place as well. Butler just made an incredible read and play.

Was the only interception thrown in over 100 passes from the 1 that year or something. I thought he threw a good ball, Butler just won the battle.

I was going to mention the Eagles and no SB wins but you qualified it at the end and I agree they haven't suffered long enough. If they suffer an eternity it wouldn't be long enough.

Truth be told, i looked around a little for one that was generic because I didn't want to shit on a particular team. My purpose was to fuck with bandwaggoners. I respect a true fan, even if they're fans of filthy teams like the eagles or redskins.

The fuck the Giants don't make a Cowboy fan's list?

Majority of the Dallas fans who post in this thread no doubt bandwagoned in the 90s. That's why they are so loud and annoying...Trying to show how real they are.

Russ definitely messed up the throw. That throw has to be on the WR's body or behind him. In no situation should he be leading the WR. It was a bad play call from multiple angles. We should have known there was zero chance Jermaine Kearse was going to be able to block Brandon Browner into Butler to block him out of the play given we had Browner the year before and knew how physical he was.

Bandwagonned in the 90's? Almost everyone in this thread was 10 in the 90's. If you were a fan 25 years ago and are a fan today, that's not bandwagonning, that's a fan. You are like so dumb.

oh you can explain the surge in Dallas fans around the country in another way? Dallas was a relevant team throughout the 90's and won their last SB in 95. Most of these people were 13-18 and most likely became fans at that time and were exposed to a more local team prior that probably sucked. . Would there even be so many cowboy fans if they didn't have that dominant run in the early to mid 90s? I don't think there would be.

But I'm an admitted hardliner on people who live and grow up in one sports town and route for another. Especially if there is no parental influence. I suspect that is the case with Dallas fans here.

So what do you say to those of us whose first Cowboy QB was Danny White?
