He was a sure fire 2nd rounder and was arrested and charged with a DUI a month before the draft. He dropped like a rock because of it, and thats what took him off of a lot of draft boards.

He was later proved innocent of the DUI -- Cowboys lucked out for sure.

Damn, somehow I did miss that. Ok, that does make sense then. I feel the Cowboys should win one with the good fortune they have had lately. Dak dropping in laps, Collins chose them, Romo is still alive somehow, Dez hasn't imploded, etc, etc, etc.

All this good fortune and they will still probably go 9-7 or 10-6. At least Dak looks pretty damn good so far.
