Raiders to Vegas made baby steps forward this week, likely be sent to the legislature for approval within the next week or so.

Yeah just let the owners bend you over some more. Cave or lose millions. Seems an easy decision for Bosa so not sure why he hasn't.

Don't play then and get nothing? The owners are shady and do shitty things all the time. But as a rookie you have done nothing and earned nothing. Take your contract, become a millionaire, then work your ass off and score huge on your second contract.

Well he has done something, he played well in college to earn that spot and its not as if he can go market himself. You are locked into who ever wants to draft you and what ever contract he feels like forcing on you.

Kind of surprised the Raiders didn't register "Las Vegas Raiders" a long ass time ago, just in case. It's peanuts to do for an organization like an NFL team.

Like, I know Dan Snyder is sitting on all kinds of retarded stuff, like "Washington Warriors," and has had them for years. You just never know.

We've seen countless high draft picks that haven't panned out recently though but were phenomenal college players. So it is basically a dice-roll if he'll be worth the money in the big leagues. He hasn't "earned that spot" until he takes a snap and plays some seasons. Take what you get and play which if you pan out, you'll get a bigger and better contract later as you've shown you're worth it and have bargaining power.

These rookies need to accept the minimum the collective bargaining has created, it is why that agreement exists and has a tiered payment structure on guarantees and pay for rookies. Anything more is a cherry-on-top. If you don't like it, you don't have to play, but good luck trying to find a team that will deal with your bullshit the following year as you've already set that bad precedent to owners/GMs.

You also have to remember Joey's dad was injured in his second year and was out of football by his third. His dad went from #16 over all and out of football in 3 years. He just wants to protect himself and I can certainly understand that.

The thing is I don't think he is really setting a bad precedent because he is not asking for something unusual. The Chargers are the ones being cunts about the whole thing because as the owner they can. That being said not signing is extremely stupid and he is fucking himself for sure. He's a moron as well.

The Chargers are fucking retarded, look what people give up for near where Bosa was picked in the draft and they are willing to lose the #3 in the draft over interest...Say what you want about Jerry but that man would spend his last penny if he thought it would win a SB.

A lot would have to go wrong for the Chargers or Raiders for either one to end up in San Antonio at this point.

Take the difference between what Bosa wants and what Spanos wants, then ask the GM of the other 31 teams if they would lose their #1 pick over that much money, fuck the #3 slot any # 1-32. Anyone who answers yes should be fired. Draft picks are worth more than money.

I couldn't agree more. I think any owner that cares about football would feel the same way. I also think it's apparent Dean Spanos doesn't give a fuck about football as long as the money train rolls on.

Barkevious Mingo to the Pats for a 5th rounder.

So, the Browns wasted 5 first round picks in 3 years. Well done, Cleveland.

This surprises you? That organization is more worried about baiting the fans into continuously buying tickets to see their laughing-stock of a team instead of using analytics, intelligence, and common-sense to build and maintain a team. I would wager a person that builds a mediocre fantasy football team would have better know-how to build a team than their so called "professionals" they have scouting, coordinating, and coaching.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but Bosa absolutely is accepting what's in the CBA. It's the Chargers trying to fuck him out of what everyone else in his position has gotten that makes it ridiculous that people are actually taking the Chargers side.

Also the idea that he should take less because he hasn't "earned it" yet is retarded as well. A team will cut a player who "earned it" and was a superstar but now is on the wrong side of 30 and declining in a heartbeat. They don't pay you for what you've done, but what they hope you will do. BS to think the owners can have it both ways

I just turned on the game and saw Romo on the side line trying to stretch out. I thought surely he cannot be hurt already...
