Daniel Jeremiah ranked Goff as the 4th best rookie quarterback through 3 preseason games on his podcast this week.
He looks awful most of the time, but then again the Rams receivers he's throwing to won't even make the roster and can't catch a cold.

Mannion looking good again against backups. I still don't get taking him in the 3rd round last year then never giving him a shot at starting before you trade away 2 drafts for Goff.

Fisher is a moron.

Keenum is never going to be the answer, not letting Goff take his lumps with the 1s just like Peyton did his rookie year is just gonna hold him back

This is beyond question. Worse is what Kroenke is doing as far as letting Fisher trade away drafts for a guy he isn't even going to play.

That said, Fisher knows shit all about offensive football so I'm not sure Goff would have much luck staying alive even if he played.

Shit after watching All or Nothing and now Hard Knocks it's hard to believe anyone thinks Jeff Fisher should be coaching a pro football team.

I dunno if eliminating the preseason is the way to go, but fuck having 4 games. This last game is always a complete waste of time. 2 games max, have a couple weeks free before the season begins.

Also lol Goff...jesus fucking christ cant even complete a screen pass.
The only argument I can see for the 4th game is it gives a chance for the players who will be cut to get some extra game film for other teams to potentially sign them.

no, their job is to create lines like that to sucker a bunch of people who will run with the over. on the surface, that looks like a safe bet, one would think? That's why it's a sucker bet. The people who set those lines really know wtf they are doing. When I see that I just assume Vegas thinks the Skins will win 7 or less games this year.

That doesn't make sense at all. You can bet the over or the under, so why would Vegas want everyone to bet the over? Then you'd know to always bet the under, duh!

It'd be more accurate to say they create lines where the side that they think will have the most action is the one Vegas thinks won't win -- over OR under. If the line is 7.5 games and most people have money on the under, then you know Vegas believes it'll be over. Likewise, if it's 7.5 games and more people have it on the over, Vegas thinks it'll be under. So, they are trying to sucker you, but it doesn't mean it'll be over or under necessarily.

However, the lines change based on amount of bets just so they can hedge their risk. If 85% of people are taking the over on 7.5, they're going to increase the number to get more action on the under so they aren't taking on so much risk if they do win 8 or more. This is usually more applicable for single game bets, though. That's why you'll see some shitty Patriots-Brown game climb from +10.5 to +14.5 because no one believes the Brown can possibly win.

No, you're definitely wrong. They want equal money on both sides, not to create these "sucker bets" where they'd lose their asses if they lost.

Oh I think a few of the people here did...

BTW.. The odd on the Skins in Vegas for wins it really concerning. I feel like they know something.. It's at 7 1/2.. Sucker bet!

Not sure why that's a sucker bet, was talking with a friend today and I feel like the Skins' range this season is probably between 6-10 and 10-6. Tough schedule overall, but weak division.

Cousins' had the definition of a lucky year. Benefited from some shitty ass teams in the East. Redskins were smart not to pay him, he is a decent quarterback long-term.

I'll need your definition of a "lucky year". If he stays healthy this year, I'll be shocked if his numbers aren't again in the vicinity of 4,000 yards, 25+ TD's, or better. D will likely be middling though, and we don't have much of a running game, so some of those stats might be helped by that.

Pre-season bro calm your tits

Cam Newton completed 42% of his passes in his first preseason, its just the fact that those teams let their guys actually take their lumps and grow. Goff should be starting the season, its why you traded all that shit for him -- but Fisher apparently wants to coddle him

Preseason or not dude is dropping the ball left and right on the turf. When you trade away a couple drafts for a QB at #1 that dude better be starting over Case fucking Keenum.

Plain facts are Fisher knows dick all about the QB position. This team needed a helluva lot more on offense than a QB but we traded away all the ability to get that help for a QB that isn't going to play or get any reps in practice.

You get better in the NFL by playing.

Drafting turd receivers, turd OL, putting inexperienced coaches in at offensive coordinator. Yep.

I had it years ago with this turd, but fuck if he didn't get enough rope to dick this franchise even further.

Frankly I want Mannion to start, I wanted them to fucking play him LAST year to see if he was any good. Maybe Keenum will all of a sudden will be Drew Brees, but if he is then we fucked up even harder.

Even Sam Bradford fucking started. Is Goff really going to learn anything on the bench on a Jeff Fisher team? Goff may work out eventually, but I am pretty unhappy with what it took to get him that he's not fucking ready.

Single games, I agree. I understand how the lines work, And overall I agree the aim is to get the money on both sides of the bet then move the line. This line has not moved. It's been at 7.5 and this doesn't seem like a good spot to split the money. I mean, just look at the people here and their predictions for the Skins this year, I bet the majority of the people would take the over? Hell, Is there anyone in this forum that would take the under at 7.5 games? Something just seems really sneaky with that line to me. On the surface it looks too good to be true because anyone following the league would expect them to win 8+ games. thus my sucker bet comment. Vegas knows all!

Convo once again proving he's a barely functioning retard.

You probably should've just let it go after your first comment.

Watching the 49ers-Chargers game last night the stadium was mostly empty but I wondered how many people came just to boo Kaepernick. They sure seemed to enjoy it.
