Ben threw one bad pick and otherwise played great. Horrible 4th down calls and zero defense was the problem.

Tomlin is bad, but this is the Steelers so he's going to be the coach for the rest of my life.

Given how their D has played, I understand it. 2 timeouts and 2 minute warning with only 2:18 left is rough. One first down and it's basically ding ding.

I think you kick that deep, Jags almost certainly going to run it 3 straight times so you know what they're calling. I'd like my chances against Bortles on a pressure 3rd down pass if they go that way over an onside kick.

Or your very low chances of recovering an onside kick, one chance vs 3 chances.

The execution was awful, but don't hate the call. You have to hold them to a 3 and out either way.

You're just risking a little field position for a chance at getting the ball midfield. 2 minutes is plenty of time either way

Well they certainly run it 3 times down in field goal range. Bortles has made some big plays on 3rd down last couple drives. I think it's picking between 2 bad options with how shitty their defense has been.

Either option was terrible. They likely are more aggressive trying to get the 1st down if they had kicked it deep. When you're already in FG range easy to just run it 3 times.
