Right, but by rule, since normally had he just been ruled down short, the team wouldn't be ready to go to snap it right away, they run 10 seconds off. Now, if you have a timeout left, you can use one to prevent the runoff I believe.

Rofl or that kneeling is traditionally how you show respect for royalty and doing it during the anthem of a republic therefore salutes the President and demonstrates loyalty.

Sucks I missed on Chris Thompson because of waiver priority in my fantasy league. He looks like he is going to be a pro bowl player this year. Most receiving yards by a RB since Bell in 2014.

I really don't get the issue with people sitting or kneeling. Most of the people at the stadium and pretty much all the TV viewers are not standing for the anthem. If somebody wants to sit or just kneel quietly they are not being disrespectful. Now if they were flipping the bird to the flag/mooning it/peeing on it that would be a totally different issue but just quietly kneeling I am totally fine with.
