Perfect fucking ending to this game. Would be hilarious if the Cowboys make the playoffs because of that play.

I wonder if they're going to look at that rule this offseason. Seems super unfair to go from 1st and goal to touchback when no one even touched the ball.

New DVR came through and I finally got to watch Garoppolo. The kid definitely has it. No reason to franchise him next year, John Lynch should just bend over and spread his cheeks for Jimmy cause it sure looks like he got a franchise QB for a 2nd round pick. That TD to Celek was fucking awesome. Did he really point at his wrist to signal "Celek time" before he threw the ball? That's pretty crazy if so.

Marquis Goodwin is having quite the year where he's playing great but having a family member die every other week. Loving Trent Taylor and George Kittle as rookies as well. I was assuming they would go for a receiver early in the draft but if they can get Garcon back and keep these guys they're actually not looking that bad at WR.

Reuben Foster must have a low threshold for pain or something. Twice this game he was rolling around like his leg was broken and then back in there 2 plays later and he's done that in almost every game. Luckily he plays like a total stud even if he's rolling around crying like a baby between plays.

The complete lack of a running game is a bit concerning, but I guess that's the Titan's strong suit.

Next two games are looking tough but even if we lose them both it's hard not to get excited about this 49ers team now. Another good offseason for John Lynch and these guys will be contending for the playoffs next year.

Cheers to the Rams for officially ending the Seahawks dynasty today.

Does Carr wear eye makeup? I swear he looks like he's got guyliner and mascara on. Either way he has the prettiest eyes in the NFL.

That was the most hilarious game ever. Raiders got pushed back a few times, paper line first down, and finished off with a fucking technical touch back. I'd be surprised if he doesn't kill himself tonight.

Agreed. One of the dumbest rules. Just put it at the point of the fumble or one yard line, or hell, the original line of scrimmage at the worst. Making that a turnover is beyond dumb and far too punishing.

The ball touched inside the end zone. Which matches the rules of a punt return. It was a bit punishing, but then maybe don't drop the ball mid flight? Definitely not something I'd seen before, but thems the rules.

Seen it a few times. I think it's the first time I saw it go in the cowboys favor. I still think it's a dumb rule. Problem is, I'm not sure what the fairest call is there. I mean, you fumbled, there should be consequences. Giving it to them at the point of the fumble turns it into no big deal. Maybe give the offense the ball on the 20 yard line? Give it to the defense at the 1?

Think that rule might have been around since before these players were born, and exists at most levels of play.

If he had fumbled out of bounds it would have been Raiders ball at the spot it went out right? Making it a touchback is a pretty huge difference from that. It's really rare so it's probably not important to address but it does seem a little off.

Just make it a ten yard penalty, then. I just think it's a disproportionate outcome when for 99% of the field it's way different.
