Don't know how much stock to place in this. After being gone from coaching so long its hard for me to imagine someone trading in a relatively cushy job like analyst for the 20 hour a day grind that is being an NFL head coach. Would be interesting however, especially the ownership stake.

The Steelers are gonna put out their practice squad tomorrow. For at least 3 of them, it will be the only NFL interception or fumble recovery they will ever get, so don't try to tell me tomorrow's game does not count.

I'll avatar bet someone on it! 1 week, 2 weeks, whatever. Not 'til past the superbowl tho in case I have to avatar bet someone on the Patriots winning it.

the ownership ain't gonna happen because other 31 owners (actually 30, since you know, Packers) are not gonna allow that Pandora's box to be opened. Mark can have of all sorts of funky ideas how to lure one of the most overrated coaches of all time back but that doesn't mean he can dictate how future coaching jobs are negotiated. Also, firing someone (let's face it, if Jon is hired, he's gonna get fired (at some point:emoji_nose: who owns a piece of a team is gonna be fucking hilarious.

You're dumb

explain which ones of my points were dumb:
Other team owners have to approve any ownership change.
It would be naive to think that prominent and established coaches (with rings) won't seek an ownership stake (even a minor one) during their next contract negotiations if the precedent has been set.
Jon Gruden being overrated. He inherited the Bucs team from Dungy, the team that had been built up over several years to be a contender. Just look at Gruden's track record after the SB. He was a .500 coach with only a couple of winning seasons after SB.

Everything you said was dumb. Who are these coaches with "rings" who's going to be forcing ownership? Belichick is it. Nobody else has the pull you seem to think they do.

Even coaches who win Super Bowls tend to be on the hot seat just a couple years later

Browns deserve a winless season. The football gods are frowning upon them for their awful draft decisions and overall inept ability when it comes to personnel decisions, including the front office.

The Lions are off the hook lol. This Browns team is worse than that Lions 0-16 team when Orlovsky stepped out of the back of the endzone. That Lions team would probably win 24-6 thats how bad this Browns team is.

Jimmy G will light it up again today securing himself a 175 million dollar contract.

Dak was able to put up a whole 6 points against 3rd stringers. Can't wait for @Kaines to come tell us all how awesome Dak is again
