the ball is literally arriving as he hits his hand. You realize that's slow mo right? I agree it SHOULD be PI because he got there early. But when it's that close live they have tended to let these go. That's basically how Seattle has defended passes in the past during their Super Bowl runs you do realize.

Saints had the same exact thing happen on an earlier Ginn Jr. play. Boom-boom plays, that's hard to catch in real time. I prefer the refs letting the guys play.
