NFL 2018 - 2019 -- Watch America's favorite sport wither away and die

No the argument is an average RB is worth 80% of a great one at a third to half the price.

The NFL clearly agrees too.

Jim Brown wheeps.

Offenses such as Dallas' or Washington's that are nearly totally dependent on rushing the ball (thanks to their QB's incredible arm talent...), the RB value is dramatically higher.

But yes, if you have a QB that can throw the ball 12 yards through the air, you're at bare minimum, probably better off, at most, drafting good young talented RBs every 4-5 years. If you land a true RB talent, these win-win RB deals seem to be the way of the future (Gurley & Johnson's deal).

It's football's slow movement to "7-on-7". Get a QB, and then just get shifty quick guys and put them in space. Reggie Bush was drafted a decade too early.

Conner would have been a top 10 pick if not for cancer. Go watch his 2016 tape vs Clemson. That's the year they won the NC, and he took over that game....only loss they had that year was to Pitt and he still wasn't fully healthy. Kid had almost 2k yards from scrimmage as a sophomore.

I think he would've always been hurt by his 40 time. But I think back-end 1st or 2nd round no doubt. It doesn't take long to watch him and know that he's at least better than above-average.

I think the Steelers (since Pitt plays at Heinz field and already knew him very well) knew they were lucky he was still getting back to speed and that he was faster than his combine time. He's one of those guys who still plays fast in pads, so many of the track guys blazing combine numbers dont ever show it on the field.

This was from a recent PFF article

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE MONTH – JAMES CONNER, RB, PITTSBURGH STEELERS
I know I said in the intro that we were using total production as a barometer and that the Steelers had a bye in Week 7, but the fact that he still made it should tell you how special Conner’s three games last month were. He still led the NFL in total broken tackles (26) despite playing one fewer game than most backs. The Steelers back averaged 3.61 yards after contact per attempt (fourth best in October) on 64 carries, scored six touchdowns (second), had 159 receiving yards (sixth) and an elusive rating of 121.9 (first). Le’Veon who?

There is NO way they start the Vegas years with him still under that 10 year contract right? There has to be some fine print shit in there that the front office can get out of it. Wait what I am saying this is the Raiders. If they were dumb enough to give out this contract no way they are smart enough for that. 9 more years baby. They'll be looking to leave Vegas in 4 years after attendance falls below 50%.

It's pretty obvious his plan is to blow the team up and build a young team through the draft. Not sure why people think them being bad this year means anything

Exactly. He is stock piling #1 picks. I also think this is why Carr will get traded. He wants to be good in Vegas. They don't give a crap about Oakland.

It doesn't help that the Golden Knights came in and shocked the fucking world. Got a team that made it to the Stanley Cup Finals its first year and they want to bring in the burning dumpster fire that is the Raiders.

By the time the Raiders actually make it TO Vegas it’s likely they won’t even resemble the current team.

I really don't know how Peterman is still in the league.

Also for Christmas I want the Browns to beat the Chiefs.

Alex Smith with an electrifying scramble to keep the drive alive. Then finally hits the fade route that jay gruden has been dreaming of.
