The Chargers’ offensive line has been their roster's biggest weakness for several seasons now. To put it in perspective, the last time they had a team pass-blocking grade ranked above 26th was 2014. With Russell Okung out for much of the season, the tackle position manned by Trent Scott and Sam Tevi was an issue, consistently putting Philip Rivers under pressure. Tevi and Scott combined to allow 88 pressures this season. That was the second most of any tackle duo in the NFL, behind Nate Solder and Mike Remmers in New York.

Absolutely. Clowney being superman, he should have easily been able to levitate himself away from the injury prone wince once his knee hit the ground. Which he clearly saw with his xray vision.

I'm hoping this leads to a rule change wherein no supes are allowed to play professional sports.

As for the head shot, wince was turning his head into clowney. They have said that should not get called as a penalty on the defender. Sometimes it turns it into a penalty on the offender (it shouldn't have in this case, just to be clear). If wince keeps his head down he doesn't take that shot.

Edited to add; first point of contact was clowney's shoulder to wince's back. He was not leading with the helmet. But because our anatomy is what it is, the head will always be pretty close to the shoulder.

You probably missed my edit.

Not sure how to feel. A major reason the Rams didn't make the playoffs comes down to our defense having absolute shit tier games and it's happened at different times the past 2 seasons. (plus letting the fucking Niners complete 2 fucking 3rd and 16s on their final drive) On the other hand he did a good enough job that we should have won the Superbowl last year.

Not a fan of the 3-4 regardless, wonder who we'll hire.
