So Hoss is perfectly fine with the way Vontaze Burfict plays football? I'm even a Bengals fan and I think that guy is a total piece of shit.

Doesn't vontaze get suspended once in a while? Not sure what you misread about my post but you need to give it another once over. Penalizing players for dirty hits is plenty. Ejections should only come if they keep doing it or do something especially bad. Like stomp on someone on the ground and try to break bones. I know suh does that a lot, I'm pretty sure vontaze does too. A little tantrum kick though? How's that worse than tripping? It literally would have had a higher chance of hurting him if the guy had simply landed facemask first on his foot. Maybe if the kick was some Tae Kwon Do jump spinning back kick shit, I'd agree. But tripping has a higher chance of hurting someone.

Ameraves Ameraves you might wanna check into flag football. If you think it's a hanging offense to tap someone where the best armor is, then this sport aint for you. Do you know why helmets are so good in the NFL? Because the guys get hit there all the time.

I just found the reverse angle on the greg robinson kick. I take it back. Ban him from football and arrest him.

And I believe this is vontaze after a fumble recovery. I see nothing wrong with this. He was playing in a state with constitutional carry and these fellows were clearly trump supporters trying to pour bleach on him.

I didnt watch football then much and definitely no college so I found this interesting. Probably old news for most of you guys though.

There is a 5min video where he breaks it down too.

Meyer said that he had never seen the play before when Smith ran it during a game during his playing days with the Utes.

“Alex Smith being the very intelligently player that he is, flips it out there and he (the wide receiver) takes off running,” said Meyer as he broke down the play where he first saw Smith use a run-pass option.

LOL, that is quite the leap you took there. Yes because I want them playing like professionals and hitting each other within the rules, I should go watch flag football. Good call there buddy.

I love a good clean hit in football, and I think they have gone too far with the defenseless hits as well. Doesn't mean I want to see them acting like children and kicking people when they get wrecked on a play. But glad to know you enjoy them acting like thugs out there, good for you!

I agree with the Robinson kicking eject.

That is bad coaching, and the Brownies better fix that shit. The game these days is built around often very technical rules -- I am not defending them, just stating a fact.

Whether it is good for the sport or not, remember that steelers center pic that someone posted a few pages ago? The pic of everyone blowing across the line because of a false start? That center is modern football.

Getting knocked over and then thinking of your leg as something to kick someone with, that is just BAD COACHING.

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't a lot of stupid penalties because a player can't understand that a play is over?

I'm just pissed at Robinson, and Kitchens for not making sure his BFG's (Big Fat Guys) are coached to ... be nice.

Be nice until it is time to not be nice. etc.

Kicking someone is an attempt to cause injury outside the bounds of normal gameplay, the fact that the dude was wearing a helmet doesn't really matter. and I guarantee if you handed out a couple multi-game suspensions that shit would hardly ever happen again, which is the whole point.

As I said, one of my problems with it is that it mattered that he had connected. So I'm not too far off from what you say gav. Punish the attempt to hurt someone outside the rules whether it works or not.

We only disagree on the severity of punishment.

Btw, that shit hardly ever happens now. When was the last time someone kicked a guy in the head in an NFL game?

Dunno if it's the most recent but it's certainly the most egregious.

He didn't even get ejected for the stomp which is even funnier. He got an unsportsmanlike and then got ejected for a second unsportsmanlike when he slammed his helmet down bitching about the penalty. He did get one of the only two multi-game suspensions for on-field behavior in the history of the NFL. The other was when Charles Martin bodyslammed Jim McMahon onto a previously injured shoulder well after he'd already passed the ball, ending his season. Martin only got two games when he should have been out for the season at a minimum.

Told you guys AB wouldnt go on exempt list. No criminal charges makes that a hard proposition, especially when there is a lot of evidence suggesting she was trying to extort AB from the beginning, and also spent time with him AFTER the alleged rape.

As for kicking at your opponent when you are on your back, I am going to stick with my view this is a coaching issue.

During my normal day, things get hectic. On some afternoons we have 3 critical care units going, even though, technically, we only have staff and gear for 1. But this is not unusual. Ask any critical care physician and I guarantee you they will you, we are operating at way above the technical limits of our unit. We can handle it, but it is what it is,

Anyway, we have a rule. Kick a critical care patient in the head, and you are gone, good bye.

You would be stunned at the turnover. Apparently, this is a lot to ask.

Is Kyler Murray a legit midget? I'm sure he looks shorter than he is next to those NFL monsters, but when he ran or threw he looked like he had almost midget like proportions.

Ran into him at a breakfast place in Scottsdale. I had to do a double take because I knew I recognized him but he was very small and I thought to myself, is that him?

It was.

20 concussions? What are the chances that in about 20 years he won't even remember playing football? If he has no permament damage from all those concussions, he's one lucky fucker

In other news, Cam is such a nice guy. By being complete shit, he helped another total waste of money, Winston, being a starter for at least a few more weeks. When does NFL start to realize that black guys aren't really that good as QB's? Sure, there are exceptions but still.

Well let's see. NFL as a whole is ~70% black, 30% white. 2019 starting quarterbacks are 28% black (counting Prescott and Mahomes), 72% white.

Any more stunning insights you want to share with us?
