Brahma things:

Tom "Get the FUCK off my lawn!" Brady! What! Should have had 6 TD's! Psst. All time TD passing leader now.
Russell Wilson looked human. Seattle's defense is how they say in french? GAR'bage.
Ummm. Baker Mayfield? Cleveland? 5-2? Don't worry. They will go 3-6 from here on out.
Didn't take Aaron Rodgers long to get back on track.
Didn't take Atlanta long to get...no they still suck.
Pittsburgh does everything well. Nothing great, but that's how you win championships no? KC scared?
It was fun hoping The Chiefs were going to have a Super Bowl hangover for a second there. They whooped ass with a mediocre PM.
The Patriots lost the defensive player of the year. All their key players opt out. Pandemic hits the good ol' USofA. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together – mass hysteria. Most of all they lose The G.O.A.T. and you know what???...
THEY STILL HAVE A BETTER RECORD THAN DALLASS!

You forgot Buffalo doing whatever the hell they did to only score 18 points on the Jets.
Also, the Jets gained 4 yards on offense in the second half. 4.

Also Kyler Murray laughing right before throwing a TD when he sees DHop in single coverage.

I was going down the youtube rabbit hole and a dude made all kyler Murray's vs the jets in madden. He beat the jets by like 23 points on the hardest difficulty.

I think divisional and our D being bad and then on top of that just fucking gassed.
This is pretty much what it was like being a Packer Fan the last few years under McCarthy and our porous defense. If the QB has anything less than a perfect game, you lose. I will say the argument for Wilson as MVP probably gained some more merit, since a slightly off night was clearly the difference between win and loss. The Hawks basically are now completely dependent on him carrying the team.

I was thinking after yesterday how the picture of the top teams had changed and there are 4 or 5 all kind of separating at the top. I forget who it was who said to look at pressure as a metric of how good defenses are, but I think they're right. Keep in mind some of those teams only rush 4 like the Rams so you have to keep that in mind (which is impressive -- and most of that is just Donald ffs). Most of those teams also have very good offenses which we know about, KC and Tampa I'd say a little bit better than Pittsburgh with those teams having a better running game. Scary thing about KC is they showed they dont even need Mahomes to do his thing, as Simms said they just beat the shit physically out of the Broncos and dont get enough respect for being a physical team.

Edit: and holy fuck look at the % of missed tackles by the Jets!! wtf

There are only three actually good defenses in the league right now: Titans, Rams, and (usually) Tampa. No one else has been remotely consistent, let alone "great". This is basically going to be remembered as the "steroid stats" era of football, offensively at least.

This season will definitely have an asterisk.

Yeah I'd still say the Steelers have a good defense.

How about giving up TDs? Good defenses don't do that right?

Fwiw the Bears I would say hands down have the overall best D in the league when you look at it all. 5-1 with no offense to speak of speaks to that.

Considering how many pro bowl defenders the Chargers are missing I guess I cant hate being middle of the pack.

Shit I knew the Bengals DL was playing like trash this year but this is really eye-opening. That's just sad. Also, only 10 sacks this year while Burrow has taken 28. -18 sack differential. Not great.
Isn't Dunlap wanting out too? Geno is 32 so yea, gonna take some trades and draft picks.

Still, it's incredible how Burrow is playing despite all that. Tee Higgins looks good too.

Hopefully ownsership will make sure Burrow never gets a better team around him and is mentally shellshocked into a demoralizing downward spiral that leads to to utter self-doubt and a defeatist mentality!

Yeah Dunlap and Atkins are just old now. They both lost a step or two and sounds like Dunlap is over-valuing his position. He's graded really poorly on PFF this year.

We need to protect Burrow, but honestly the defense just needs so much fucking help. The Bengals lost yesterday and they didn't punt once. That's fucking mind-blowing.

Best rookie QB performance in NFL history, Bengals are 1-5-1. He's made of stone if being drafted by that dumpster fire of a franchise doesn't break him.
