That's the great thing about the NFL though, with a good front office you can be a SB contender in very little time. Especially if you have a franchise QB.

The Rams are a perfect example. They got rid of Fisherball, hired McVay, hit a couple good drafts out of the park with Donald, Goff, Kupp etc and got guys like Robert Woods in FA.

4-12 to 11-5 and then 13-3 and a SB appearance in two years.

That's not gonna happen with the Bengals. I'm over Zac Taylor already. They spent more money than they ever have in FA - almost all on the defense. And the defense might actually be worse than last year.

Hurry up to line to waste a 1st down when they haven't done shit to stop run yet. This is how you get behind the sticks.

Any team getting a young QB should prioritize the O-line, and I dont understand why some teams don't. Keeps them healthy, and at least a decent run game will help tremendously.

So glad Seattle got rid of Ifedi. Still leads the league in penalties. No wonder he had to sign a league minimum deal.

If Aaron Donald could not be held 80% of the time I’d be sooooo happy. (I know there’s holding on every play, but it seems like they weight how often they call them depending who it’s against sometimes).

All this while the rests of the defensive line is fucking trash and they're letting offensive lines hold like crazy this year. Not a fan of how conservative McVay is playing it tonight. Twice we've punted around their 40 and that weak shit FG.

Nah bro McVay is playing it right.

Chicago's defense statistically *might* be the be best in the league given the offense they are saddled with. They are at or near the top few in every important category. #1 in tds, 4th in scoring, #1 in 3rd down D, Their offense isnt great. Take what you get, let your D win.

That strategy is paying off so far.

On the other hand we're keeping Chicago in it. You go for 3-4 yards on 3rd and take the short 4th down and if you dont get it they're still on their side of the field.

We've had the ball on their side of the field 4 times tonight and have 10 points to show for it.

They're now driving to possibly tie it up before half. (I realize how good their D is which is also why I'm taking my shots when I get them)
