Schefter and a couple others just reported Steelers traded a 5th for Jets LB Avery Williamson. Had 120 tackles in 2018 before he got hurt last year.

Avery Williamson tore his ACL in 2019 because Adam Gase left him in for an extra possession in the preseason to play with the second-stringers. The Jets forced him to take a pay cut before the 2020 season. How do you think he feels about getting to play for the Steelers.

Them ruling that a TD might save my fantasy season. Was down 18 before that play, I have Eagles D tonight opponent has Dallas kicker, and I have Ronald Jones tomorrow night. Sack/fumble alone would have just been 3, the TD makes it 9. See if score holds rest of this game, but Rojo only needing 9 tomorrow instead of 18 or 15 is massive.

It feels like dinucci is doing a poor job reading their offense and the play caller is doing nothing to adjust to this. Half the plays it seems like he has no idea what he should try to do. Dinucci could probably be a fine QB with better coaching. Feel sorry to see someone who might be a good player get put into a situation like that.

I'll say this for McCarthy, taking the intentional safety to try that free kick onside play was actually pretty smart, even though it didn't work out. Zeurlein executed it well, too.

Stopped watching the Chargers game yesterday when I thought they had it in hand.

Don't know what I was thinking, I live in San Diego, have watched them lose games like this for years.

No his team can still win if he has an off day. Teams like Seattle, GB, and Tampa, not so much. And of those three Wilson is both the most consistent. Plus the NFL is all in on the BLM dick sucking, so Wilson would be getting it even if he did not deserve it (which I think at this point he clearly does). Without him, that team is winless. GB and Tampa would each still have a couple wins if Tom or Rogers were out.

Humphrey played all of Sunday’s game against the Steelers. Presumably, he learned that he’s positive from a gameday PCR test. If so, that means he was shedding virus in the locker room before the game, on the field before the game, on the field during the game, on the sidelines, and in the locker room after the game.

So the trade is a conditional 5th round pick and Kiko Alonso. I have to assume this is just some sort of cap hit relief for the 49ers, with the play from Greenlaw and Warner making them feel like they no longer need Kwon.

Edit: Fucking ouch. 49ers brass need to make much better decisions on FA's and contracts moving forward
