The DB deciding he wants to guard the inside route instead of a deep pass near the sidelines was pretty bad, not just the indefensible facemask.

Also thought it was retarded to settle for the field goal instead of taking the TD that Miami was giving you when they took a knee on 3rd and goal from the 1. That decision is definitely on Gruden

on 3rd and goal I can agree. Realistically I think they could have had Carr run around a bit before taking a knee, I mean it was going to be like a 25 yard FG anyways. It's all just dumb, with 19 seconds left you should never be giving up anything more than a potential Hail Mary throw.
