It was ideal. Dominate for 3/4 of the game and then lose it in the 4th to improve draft position. Sort of wish they had done the same last week vs. the Cards. Holy shit watching CJ Beathard try to play quarterback is painful. In the first half it seemed like he didn't want to even try to throw to anyone but Kittle and then when Kittle was WIDE open in the back of the end zone he makes a bad throw to Dwelley (who was 5 yards in front of Kittle) for an incompletion. When the announcers were saying he had "the mentality of a defensive player" I was like "well why don't you put him in at safety then because he sure as hell can't play QB." Once in a while he will make a really impressive pass like the one to Ritchie James, but most of the time he's hard to watch. Took some unbelievably terrible sacks too. I'm not totally sold on Garappalo but I think if he was in there the 9ers would have won by 2 touchdowns.

Lynn's not a terrible coach but he made a lot of bad calls the last 2 years. He probably wont be out of a job long. Better to fire him now than tip toe around it and do it beginning of next season after going 1-4 or something.
