Having a head coach who won't scheme to the strengths of the players, you have way bigger problems going on.

Pretty sure the Herbert pick solves that problem for me. Bottom of the division after this year when our FAs leave. Then GM and Coach are getting fired.

The 49ers love to draft defensive tackles in the first round. It's been working for them though.

Interesting that Tua went 5 to Miami. I hope the kid stays healthy, he was fun to watch in college even if it was for Alabama. I did not realize it has been since early 90s since the Bengals won a playoff game. Burrow could make a difference if they give him a line - which they won't. Because they are the Bengals. He has a better chance to get horribly injured than Tua I feel.

The OL isn't good but it's not THAT bad. Dalton never really missed much playing time.

49ers get their guy and an extra pick from Tampa. Wonder who else was trying to trade up to #13 to force Tampa to move up a spot. Maybe Miami.

Lineman are the second most important position on the field in my opinion. So its a smart strategy .

Yeah if Miami had gotten Wirfs that would have been amazing. A lot of people had him as the top OT.

Chase Young and our DL of all 1st round picks better earn their money against Dallas. Our secondary ain't covering any of their WR's.

Cowboys using their 17 on a WR. Finally someone agile enough to catch dak's laser throws. All you bitches going to be not seeing stars next year, just blurs.

I agree. The last 5 years of the 49ers #1 pick in the draft.

2015 17 Arik Armstead DE Oregon
2016 7 DeForest Buckner DE Oregon
2017 3 Solomon Thomas DE Stanford
2018 9 Mike McGlinchey OT Notre Dame
2019 2 Nick Bosa DE Ohio State
2020 14 Javon Kinlaw DE South Carolina

Of all of those Solomon Thomas is probably the closest thing to a disappointment and he's still on the team. I don't really know if it was the plan all along, but Lynch basically traded Buckner for his younger replacement that's going to make about $20M less and got one of Tampa Bay's picks in the bargain. Hard to say that's not a good move. Hope they can come up with a viable WR and CB now.

Chargers gave up their 2nd and 3rd this year to move up for Murray. What are they going to do at tackle? Can't get one tomorrow, nor do they have picks to trade for Trent Williams now.

No wonder Tyrod Tayler will start at QB for them this year...be running for his life all year.

I have to admit I was secretly hoping the 9ers would draft Jerry Jeudy just because if there could be a second great wide receiver named Jerry it would be cool if he was a 49er too.

49ers absolutely killing it. Move back from 13 to 14 with Tampa and get pick 117 in the process (while also giving up a 7th rounder but whatever), then use 117 and 176 to move up from 31 to 25 to get Aiyuk. Lynch is a beast.
