Well, Belichick already knows how to take away AB after watching this. Just take away Bell and it's Big Rape Vs the Organization of Evil. I think big fella is outnumbered.

That's what he wants to believe. Hard for me to understand how this victory on teh road against a much much better team than the Texans isn't impressive, but whatever.

They were terrible in the red zone, is that going to continue to happen? Who knows.
If the Chiefs were leading the league in sacks or something I would understand, but the Steelers on paper have had a lot more pressure and sacks by a large margin than KC did this year. Better vs Brady right? And the Steelers have an offense that can actually keep up with New England when they dont sputter out like they did tonight.

Not saying they should be favored, but I think they have as good of a shot as anyone in the AFC this year. Just depends which Steelers team shows up in Foxborough. If the past is any indication though, it will be a shitty one since the Pats always own us in the playoffs.

Sean Taylor was another one. I have no idea how the fuck he did it, but he's constantly be on the opposite side of the field and close the gap on a ball to bat it away or intercept it. Just ridiculous speed.
Sean Taylor could have been as good or better. He was definitely a more violent hitter

Fucking unreal that he and Ed Reed were on the same Miami team. Boats n hoes $$$ ~!

Just take away AB and Bell, why didn't every team think of this amazing plan?

(also AB still had 6 catches for 108 yards, I wish people would take away the Rams receivers like that)

League ranks of remaining playoff teams in scoring offense and defense.

Defense
1st New England
10th Pittsburgh
21st Green Bay
27th Atlanta

Offense
1st Atlanta
3rd New England
4th Green Bay
10th Pittsburgh

Hmm I wonder if franchise QBs are important

I'm trying to unsuccessfully troll Genj. My earlier post already discussed their scoring issues for most of the year(even at 11th).They were wildly inconsistent all year long and the Pats will feast on that.

Maybe your new coach will help your baby QB find those WRs more. You don't have anyone close to ABs caliber so maybe not.

Hah, nice try but I am already emo vs NE and it will be pretty miraculous if we beat them.

This isnt retardwizardhawk levels of pretend disrespect because the numbers dont lie. The Steelers are 2-8 vs Brady and have never beaten Brady at Gillette as long as he has been their starting QB. If our offense would happen to show up and the defense plays as it as has been, I think we can at least make it competitive. That team is just our kryptonite and always has been. Brady feasts on zone defenses and the teams that have beaten him had great rushers on the DL along with corners like Revis etc who can make him take coverage sacks from just holding the ball -- something we have neither of.

It would take them coming out flat and prolly some turnovers fumbles etc for us to win up there.

This stat doesnt include the last game, but it sums up our woes vs Tom and Darth Bill.

In nine games against them, he has completed 68.1 percent of his attempts, thrown for 2,638 yards and 20 touchdowns and has a passer rating of 109.64. He has been picked off just three times by the Steelers in 323 career attempts, though not once since a victory in 2005, five meetings ago.

What the fuck are you even talking about "pretend disrespect"? Are you still fixated on my comment about people passing over the Patriots for the superbowl? Do you want me to go back and quote the 15ish posts from the few pages before I made it that I was referring to?

Then again you still can't even admit that the safety tonight went helmet to helmet...

Those Miami teams were unreal stacked. 3rd string RB's end up all Pros.

Great game earlier, have to give credit to Dallas for coming back. Still saw MM fuck up royally with those run calls like a dumbass to leave enough time for Dallas to tie it. Rodgers had to save his bacon again.

Btw. Can we put the whole "game winning 4th quarter drives" shit to bed? Rodgers went out and proved every complaint about it. Fucker had to do it TWICE in the final two minutes today. Only one QB makes that throw, and it's him. Period. 4 for 4 on my picks for this weekend. I really think Green Bay can ride Rodgers all the way to another Super Bowl, but the Falcons just have this weird dark horse thing going on in my head. Either way that game has potential to be just as high scoring and close as this one was today.

As for KC...yeah, basically what I said. They aren't built to score enough for me to think they had a shot going to New England. Unreal job holding Steelers to all FG's, but still not enough in the end. Said only 2 teams had a chance at coming out of the AFC, and they're in the title game. I think least interesting Super Bowl would be Falcons v. Steelers, for whatever reason. I'm kind of hoping for Rodgers v. Brady.

It was more to point out that if the NFC wins this year, all the retards who spout the defense hurrdurrs championships talk will have to go away until another year where a dominant defense wins.

I know that you are stats averse but - that's 6 out of 7. And that 89 offense that won also had the #3 Defense in the league.

Year SB No. 1 Offense No. 1 Defense Result
1966 I Chiefs (32.0) Packers (11.6) Green Bay 35, Kansas City 10
1969 IV Vikings (27.1) Chiefs (12.6) Kansas City 23, Minnesota 7
1978 XIII Cowboys (24.0) Steelers (12.2) Pittsburgh 35, Dallas 31
1984 XIX Dolphins (32.1) 49ers (14.2) San Francisco 38, Miami 16
1989 XXIV 49ers (27.6) Broncos (14.1) San Francisco 55, Denver 10
1990 XXV Bills (26.8) Giants (13.3) New York 20, Buffalo 19
2013 XLVIII Broncos (37.9) Seahawks (14.4) Seattle 43 Denver 8

Lol stats averse....and you are trying to show 6/7 (for another of your cherry picked stats) is statistically relevant? I mean.......stick your foot in your mouth much??

Does defense really win championships?

I'll leave that article right there. You might be too dumb to understand it since it requires a 3rd grade mathz level. We will all help if you need it.

Takes a village to raise the village idiot and all you know.

Pats going to fucking roll on this shitty Steelers team. Ben sucks on the road, play calling sucks, coaching sucks. Probably the worst team to ever play in an AFC Championship. Steelers are like 1-10 against Brady, good luck talking yourself in to this one Genjiro Genjiro

Whoa whoa there Uber take your pills. I already pointed out our futility above vs Boy Wonder and Darth Bill.

That said, worst team ever? Hmm. Idk man.....

Worst SB level AFC team ever is prolly that Patriots team that got their shit packed in by the 85 Bears. That or one of those shitty Elway teams that Montana put in the grave. Least we never got blown out in the big game~
