I'm just trying to match your original effort here. Quick's team gives up a few too many goals in the regular season, and Toews picked the wrong position to play. They just have to settle for their Conn Smythe trophies knowing they'll never reach the pinnacle.

Poking fun at your belief that the Jennings is a bigger accomplishment than the Conn Smythe isn't being butthurt...it's being entertained.
In other Blackhawks news, ref Stephen Walkom (the one who waved off the possible winning goal in Game 7) may end up working Hawks-Kings games. I guess he's in the pool for the Conference Finals, but no idea how they get assigned or moved around between the two. If it was up to me, I just wouldn't schedule him for any of the games in Chicago...but who knows what the league will do. Maybe no one will care since they won anyways.

With you predicting it, the universe might just be fucked up enough to have that miracle happen. What's more likely is that we'll overachieve in the regular season (relative to expectations), then take a 2-0 or 3-1 series lead against someone in the playoffs, only to lose a Game 7 on home ice that I will attend. Like usual.
