Hahaha hell no. I'd never convert, Been a Skins and Caps fan all my life (32 years old). Often painful, never boring. Pens are enemy number 1. The 90's was full of pain and misery from you guys. For the record I respect the hell out of your team, I just love to hate them.

Curious about the Super Bowl for you...do you root for the Niners cause they're playing the Ravens, or the Ravens so the Niners don't get their 6th ring?
Neither. I get really drunk and super excited whenever someone fumbles, regardless of their affiliation. It's a hard call to make - I don't want the niners near the steelers, but you gotta hate on the ravens.

Root for the meteor. I have a lot of friends who are Ravens fans, so for ONLY them I'd be happy...but far too many Ravens fans are real assholes around here, with an entitlement complex that they really hadn't earned for 12-13 years until this run. I will never hear the end of it if they win. Wouldn't mind seeing Kaepernick break some barriers like Doug Williams did 25 years ago (although in this case for the mobile QB who can also throw it well).

Nice game by you guys...we had a little pushback in the 3rd but score effects likely played a part in that. I can't stand how we run the PP. If you're going to run a 1-3-1, Ovechkin needs to be the guy in the slot. When Brouwer is there they never feed him b/c they telegraph they're always looking to feed it all the way across to AO for the one timer. You put Ovechkin in the slot, at least they'll use him or he'll draw attention to open up other passing lanes.
New development that their PP produces shit? I haven't paid much attention to their special teams.

Hasn't been good for a couple years now. '09-'10 it was tops in the League I think around 25%. Been stagnating ever since.

Also not sure if there is a stat on this but Hemsky is by far the biggest reason we go offside all the time. Id be curious to see how he would compare to the rest of the league.

Yes! My Ducks beat the Sharks. Ive been pretty impressed with the Ducks play this season. From our backup goalie holding his own (3-0) and our rookies really playing well. Every line is producing. To beat the Sharks though is a real feat with the way they have been playing.
They sure seem to be falling flat last few games, they were what, 0 for 5 or something on the PP tonight?

Every game the Ducks win makes me think they'll have playoff success and everyone here in DC will have to admit it wasn't Boudreau but the players the Caps are made up of that was the problem
Phaneuf clears puck off the glass yesterday, hits ref in the mouth,ref looses teeth, get 13 stitches, comes back to finish the game and is back tonight for Leafs/Caps.
