Kind of a weak call on Neal for "roughing", wasn't exactly a strong push but I guess they don't like seeing anyone get thrown towards the boards?

More of the same from the Caps. Not getting great goaltending, look decent for stretches, then a ridiculously bad breakdown sprinkled in to give up goals.

Don't worry too much Meth, we always seem to find some legs when down 2, we'll probably push the rest of the way and give up a soft goal late to end it.

See Meth? Like clockwork. Only turn it on when it's too little and too late.

I don't know, feels like when we have a lot of possession it's all cycling and kept to the outside, which isn't terrible, but we just don't generate a lot of good chances that way. We looked pretty good in the 3rd, but have to wonder how much of that was related to you guys being up 2.

That call on desjardin was unbelievable bullshit. Fucking ref should be suspended for that nonsense. I KNEW they were going to score on that too. How the fuck does desi get thrown out of the game for that?

That game was horseshit. Sharks PP is terrible but that fucking call changed the pace of the entire game. Should have had some epic OT. Fuck Kane for his little douchebag smirk too.

Neither ref called anything on the initial hit so it's a bit strange for them to decide it was a headshot after the fight was done. The last 3 Chicago goals were all pretty much self inflicted by San Jose though. Second goal scored 8 seconds after the center ice faceoff by Shaw standing all alone at the top of the crease with no defender in sight. Third goal Justin Braun manages to bounce the puck off a team mate's skate right in front of an open goal. Fourth goal Murray falls asleep and turns the puck over right in front of his own goal.

Entertaining game nonetheless even if it was somewhat sloppy on defense/goaltending.

They've been really quick with the whistle on anything borderline near the boards this year. At least in all the Pens games. I'm OK with this as long as it goes both ways I guess. God I'm fucking sick of talking about calls.

Pens can go one one of their patented 15 game insanity streaks AAAAANY day now...
Yup.

Brauner was fucking terrible tonight which is uncharacteristic, but SJ should have been on the PP after Keith initiated the fight with his visor on. If that wasn't a clean hit then hockey isn't hockey anymore.
