Maybe my boys will finally do something good against the isles for once on the playoffs. The history is not good...
The Leafs have been playing like they're legitimately afraid of the puck and the consequences for touching it. The fact that the score is only 4-1 is amazing, they really don't look like they belong.

The Cannucks are a bunch of cunts and for once they actually paid for it. Really glad to see the Sharks act disciplined after a horseshit second period. Really happy we got one on the road. I think we are the only team that has gotten one on the road, so far.

Pens/Isles stuff:
Oh snap, good Fleury is live. I should probably just start talking about 2013/2014 season stuff, because these playoffs are a lock if he's gonna play near what he's capable of.
More seriously: I wonder if that Iginla slapshot off the face had a real effect on Nabokov. He took that puck right in the face and was clearly rocked by it. I wonder if he was ignoring a bad concussion from there until he got yanked.

I didn't see anything particularly astonishing about Fleury's game. Everytime an Islander got in the scoring zone there were like 3 pens on him. I saw very few quality scoring chances from the isles. If anyone is deserving of praise it was the D.
About Nabokov, yea he seemed pretty dazed after the puck to the dome. Guess we will know if he is concussed Friday, but something tells me that shot is a convenient excuse for a severe ass stomping.

I must admit I was surprised at how badly the Leafs got beaten by the Bruins last night. I figured that they might give the Bruins a real run for their money, given that the Bruins have a few guys who are just back from injury and so on. But that was a curb stomping last night. Which makes me happy. Same with Vancouver's loss. Praise jesus.

Finally out series gets started tonight. I'm not sure what to expect because both us and the Rags are quite a bit different than we were last year. I don't expect wide open odd man rushes both ways all night, but I expect there to be a little more offense both ways than last year.

Yea was wondering the same. Both teams had alot of momentum finishing the season, esp the caps. Should be interesting to see if the lull helps or hinders either team.

Don't sleep on the Rangers finish either, think they were like 10-3-1 or something in April? Something like that. Probably the most days off in a row either team has had since the season started. Could be a weird game.
