Yeah that TMM penalty was pretty bad. It wasn't even a guy getting caught near the bench too they were all on the rush.

Our PP's before the Ovechkin goal did look like shit. Look how that one worked out, just have Green blast one from the point and get some bodies in tight. Lundy falling apart, I thought we were in trouble after refs handed you guys the 5 on 3 giving Fehr an extra minor. We just took another penalty to give you a shot to cut the lead before end of the period too.

It's nice that Ovechkin should have had 2 or 3 different assists on that PP, but he might as well just fire it himself if other guys are going to waste those chances...good lord. Every time Mike Green fires a shot directly into a defenders shins I want to murder him.

Sloppy...left waaay too many chances out there. I really think Hillen/Erskine/Oleksy as the back end of our D is going to get exposed by the Rags' forward depth at some point too. I'll take it though...if only Erskine would stop scoring own goals.

Really frustrating loss. Rangers came alive in the second and maintained decent pressure throughout but stupid penalties and a minor lapse in Lundquist in the second cost us. He should of had those last 2.
Hagalin had two great chances with that breakaway and that one timer that hit crossbar. Moore was straight up robbed late in the third. No way that puck didn't cross the line, get better/more camera angles around the net ffs.

I actually don't think it ever crossed, I think it was stuck between his body and the post as it was just laying on his jersey/hip area that was locked against the post on the one camera angle Comcast had (local feed here). Impossible to really tell though due to lack of good angles.
I wish the refs would have let some more stuff go in general. We took plenty of dumb penalties ourselves. No idea how we didn't bury some of the other chances we left wanting, especially on that PP in the 3rd. Ridiculous not to pot one with all the chances we had on that.
Was a weird game in a lot of ways, I think the layoff affected both teams, expect Saturday for both teams to be a lot cleaner in their play overall.
Araysar I don't understand how we won a game against a non Southeast team. Please stop letting Harding take you to OT okay?
Whats with all the fucking penalties? This is the playoffs! Let them play hockey! This isnt basketball!

This. There were some soft calls both ways in the Caps/Rags game tonight. Next game it'll be the knee jerk reaction the other way too and they won't call anything short of murder now.
