Blues/Kings has been some of the best hockey I've watched in the playoffs. Tonight was the first game of Ottawa/Montreal I really saw, haven't seen any of Boston/Toronto either but the rest I've been keeping up on. I think Blues/Kings could go 7 with a couple more OT games and all of them pretty tight.I have paid almost zero attention to 5 of the 8 series going on. Watching the 1 vs 8 series and the Caps/Rangers mostly, I'm barely aware of all the other series. I especially need to start watching the LA/St. Louis series because it's been good tight hockey and I saw basically none of them this season. I have a feeling West champ will be coming out of that match up.
as far as i remember Luongo is a bitch and I'm unsure why anyone would root for him.I don't care much about Canucks or hockey nowadays, but anyone who thinks Schneider is even a shred as good as Luongo needs to go to hell. Fuck naw son. I hope Canucks trade away Luongo to a good team so he has a chance at winning the cup.
Luongo has been on good teams and was the weak link. Why would anyone want a mentally weak goaltender with an albatross contract?I don't care much about Canucks or hockey nowadays, but anyone who thinks Schneider is even a shred as good as Luongo needs to go to hell. Fuck naw son. I hope Canucks trade away Luongo to a good team so he has a chance at winning the cup.
I know Holtby himself gave major credit to the D but I'd say one goal in two games is proof enough.I love how so many people covering the Rangers or Rangers bloggers continue to belittle Holtby. I completely understand the narrative that the Rangers have what would seem to be an edge in goaltending based on Lundy's career, but to act like the gap is as big as they are is hilarious. Strang pumping Lundy as the reigning Vezina winner gave me a chuckle...Tim Thomas can tell you how Holtby treats reigning Vezina winners.
To say nothing of his numbers last year in 14 games...or his career numbers to date. Now a lot of young goalies start out hot, but he's starting to get to that range when we'll see what their true level might be projected out over their career. Here's hoping he keeps it going.I know Holtby himself gave major credit to the D but I'd say one goal in two games is proof enough.
We both know this only too well. Fucking Halak.Man, ANY goalie in the NHL is capable of stealing a game or two and thus a series. When one is playing good it's just so stupid to try and downplay it. You don't have to have Brodeur's career to win a series.
