After Boyle tool that puck to the hand and was shaking it off, then immediately blocked another puck, I was cringing every shot after that since he found a way to be right in front of every one.

Oh stop, I've sat through every Game 7 home loss the last few years. When I was younger it didn't seem to happen as much. Need to go find some tickets now actually.

Like I said before, every Caps fan I know is like this. Just beaten to a pulp by years of playoff sadness. You were ready for game 7 when they were up 2-0.

Not even from beaten to a pulp though...look at our playoff history in the Ovechkin era. We eliminated the Rags in 5 games in 2010-11, then got swept by Tampa in 4 the same year. Other than that, 6 other series that have all gone 7 games. Just expect it.

Also, he gets a lot of love for the Game 5 OT winner, but it might help if Ribeiro didn't pass up every shooting opportunity from a dangerous area all game tomorrow night.

You know, i'm psyched that the Sharks sweeped. But, I really want to get back to watching some Sharks hockey, even if it is against the Hawks.

Leafs take it to Game 7!! Great hockey day tomorrow!!

The Leafs I thought really dominated that game tonight. I hope they can carry that over to tomorrow.

Awesome for the Leafs to get their first home playoff win in 9 years or so...and good in the sense that if we pull out Game 7 at home tomorrow the winner of Leafs/B's won't get an extra day of rest. Tickets secured for tomorrow, so I'll miss the Leafs game, but at least I'll get to see whatever happens to us live once again. 2-0 in the games I've gone to in this series...but I'd really, really prefer no OT this time around.

In the West, the top seed lost in every series except the Hawks/Wild series. 1 out of 4 correct in the West.
#7 Wings beat #2 Ducks
#6 Sharks beat #3 Canucks
#5 Kings beat #4 Blues


In the East,
Top seed won 1 series, bottom seed won 1 series. 2 yet undecided.

If you're a fan of symmetry, prepare to watch Rangers and Leafs win their respective series.

Funny enough, if tonight's games would have all gone the other way, I would have been right on 7 out of 8 1st round series, and nailed 5 of those 7 on predicting how many games each series went as well. Now, I'm with you...good thing I'm not a gambling man. Although if the Bruins and Caps win tomorrow I'll still have 6 out of 8 series right, only getting the 2 v. 7 match ups wrong in both.
