Thought the 2nd one was a little soft from that angle. Give you guys credit though you controlled the majority of the play. Overall I did think Holtby looked pretty good. Johannson was snake bit like hell tonight, nice to see him take his shots when Ovechkin was out at least.
Just hurts when the secondary guys aren't having one of their "on" games. Had to rely on a seeing eye shot on a bad angle from Glencross to get us on the scoresheet. Not that our PP minds the 1/1 night, but only other guy who even seemed close all night was Johannson with 2 posts and forcing a pretty decent glove save from Dub that he didn't even get all of, just enough to deflect the shot wide (which is all that matters).
Pens managed 16 shots in regulation, Fleury should get that W all to himself.
I only have to watch the Rangers play to not get my hopes too high, despite how well both AO and Backstrom are playing along with our improved blueline and Holtby in net. Same 1-0 OT win on the road as you guys, only they didn't get dominated all game. Was a pretty good game with Chicago today other than no goals until OT.
I'm looking forward to Wednesday, which is a rarity. 3 days off between games is nice, even as just a shitty fan it gets tiring.

That game showed how bad the Hawks miss Kane on the power play. He normally is the one that handles entries into the zone and without him they kept getting stopped or having to dump and chase.
Yeah, no doubt that would of been a different game with Kane particularly on the PP, but overall it would of been a similar outcome. Rangers were just a step ahead most of that game. Yes, homer.
