Really happy that Callahan and the rest of Rangers south are doing so well, but fuck Ben Bishop in the goat ass.

Shit is getting weird here on LI. Between the Rangers playoff run last season and the Isles steam rolling mofo's, coupled with the fact that every other NY sports team is embarrasingly terrible lately, there have never been so many hockey enthusiasts comming out of the woodwork. I can't get through the day without strangers starting up a conversation about seeing "last nights game". As annoying as it has become, it's encouraging to see the sport becoming more relevant in my state. Well, besides the sabres of course.....

Yeah the Canucks sure put it on you guys, the forecheck was brutal. It sure is refreshing seeing them play 4 line uptempo game, especially after the joke of a season last year was.

I think I read last year the Pens set a record for most man games lost, I know they were like 130 ahead of the next closest team. I feel bad for anyone else going through something like that. It was brutal. I thought this year would be different but here we are. Guys missing games due to cancer and blood clots and shit. What the fuck...

I saw that picture last night, and it gave me goosebumps.

Mind you, I'm from Montreal and lived here all my life, and have been a fan of the habs for all that time. I grew up idolizing Guy Lafleur, and seeing one of the great one paying his respect to another great one like that is kinda special.

I missed that while playing darts(PLAYOFFS!). Hockey players don't fuck around.

Was pretty happy the Pens managed to get a point last night with their AHL team. The 2 goals in 24 seconds to tie it up was huge.


edit: The salary cap is something like $70 million. The Penguins managed to suit up ~$45 million worth of players last night.
