Everytime my buddy takes me to the game I gotta pay for parking and food. It ends up being about as much as the ticket in the first place.

Those prices are amazing. Except Dasani, you couldn't pay me to drink that garbage.

I go to maybe 1 Kraken game a year because of this. Seahawks tickets and food are cheaper. It’s insane.

First off, looking for suggestions for the season thread title, I've got nothing.

Secondly, I found out at the end of last season that one of my friends, a longtime Penguins fan, has never been to a game. Therefore I'm hauling his ass to Pittsburgh next week for the home opener. We'll be getting there the day before, so we've got all of Wednesday free before the game. Any suggestions on places to check out near the arena?

They are doing renovations to alleviate that, the place was build for basketball. I think it all takes place next summer, once the NHl and NBA are done. The tickets are heavily discounted for poor sightlines, I remember going to a Leafs / Islanders game in Brooklyn when they played there and the tickets with the obscured sightlines were 1/2 the price.

Its not a long term thing and at least they are not playing in a college stadium anymore lol.

Yeah I know they'll get it fixed for next season and agreed it better than playing at ASU.

I dunno that ASU arena seemed like it'd be fucking cool to watch from. I really wanted to catch a game there, too bad that'll never happen now.
