Can’t outscore bad goaltending for a full season. Would love to see them make a move for a goalie or Dman.

It's amazing how many ways the Caps find to just give games away in OT. Kill off consecutive penalties final 2 minutes of regulation and first ~1:45 of OT just to hand it to them?

He had a terrible run in his AHL conditioning stint and injuries the season before. I think most GMs are balking at the price tag plus the extra year. No one is going to want him until he gets back to proving it at a NHL level

Just crazy. Seemed to have so much potential and getting consistent top 6 minutes with the young core in Detroit would be just the opportunity he'd need.

Wilson and Backstrom returning tomorrow for Caps, apparently. I can't believe Backstrom is actually returning this quick, no idea what to expect from him, but all his comments about being pain free for the first time in years is nice to hear. Going to be worried any time he takes a hit, though.
