not sure you know what options are. Some people like pineapple on pizza, others think it is a sin. If the options suck, vote with you wallet, not with useless arguments. I doubt you can argue more options, even for older games (portable doom isn't that bad if you have hours to travel or not in front of home console) or the robust NES or SNES library that is bound to come eventually. I would love to have all that on a portable, I.e. More options.

So you are saying they haven't resold the same crap on VC over and over again? Not saying its right, but you have to assume they will try to sell the same old games at $5 a pop on the new console as they have for the past 2 generations. Hopefully they get their shit together and make proper online accounts but you are stupid if you don't think they wont try to sell it again to people willing to buy it for the n'th time.

It seems they may be pulling their heads out their ass a bit this gen and moving towards doing the right thing, but time will tell. I want to be optimistic and think they will, as they haven't shit the bed this gen just yet.

Everyone that buys a nes or snes classic knows exactly what they are buying and know exactly the silly premium they are paying for it.

It's a Nintendo product that everyone wants and they are willing to pay for it.

It may buffer the poor sales of the switch and wiiu and allow Nintendo to keep on... that is good, maybe.

Are there any big Nintendo franchise titles lined up for the Switch next year? So far I'd be interested in playing Zelda, Mario Rabbids, and Mario Odyssey. If they can get a Donkey Kong, Metroid, Kirby, Yoshi, etc. out in the first half of next year, I might actually consider picking one of these up.

Next year you will have a Fire Emblem game.

Supposedly a Yoshi game in 2018. Who knows when.

Everything else is TBA - Pokemon, Shin Megami possibly in 2018 but who knows when, with Metroid now being 2019 at the earliest. - Here is a glorious list.

You will also be able to play doom in glorious 540p at 27 frames, and I would expect Wolfenstein 2 to be the same after you already buy it for another console and they think you will double dip so you can play it while travelling which 87% of Nintendo switch users don't use anyway

Skyrim comes out November 17th in fantastic 720p 30 frames with motion controls and no modding. So that is definitely the definitive version of our favorite re-re-re-re-re-rerelease of Skyrim because you can use a bow and arrow with motion controls.

I loved Horizon but it's not going to beat out Zelda BOTW, much less Mario Odyssey - it didn't do anything revolutionary, just did an open world very well and had a great setting/story. That's the way most game journalists/award publications think anyways if they have the option.
