No idea who she is, so I looked at her list. Impressive. And here's the but -- but most of the movies on her list were done with Speilberg. So it's hard to know how much was her and how much was him. Is probably why. Being smart enough to let speilberg do his thing is probably being pretty fucking smart, if that's ALL she did. No idea, and she probably did more, but yeah.

Although it's still stupid not to listen to her if she fears a train wreck to tarnish her reputation. At the very least she knows what a good production looks like from having been involved in so many. And she probably knows how to run one, too, yeah -- but at the very least if she's redflagging shit she seems like someone to listen to.

i really doubt they would make legacy of the force, but I would really enjoy this storyline as I feel it's very fitting, especially with the age of everyone involved. Plus, finally you can have the 'symbolism' that Lucas wanted with the original trilogy

I really hope something like that ship happens in the new trilogy. I mean fuck, they got to have something crazy like that or the shit is just going to be boring. I think back to the original trilogy and remember being blown away by something the size of the death star. WTF are we going to have in this new movie that could top the death star?

Trying to "top" the Death Star is going to be their mistake. There's a lot of different ways they could go with it and have it be every bit as awesome as A New Hope, but they're gonna try to one up it instead. They won't. They just won't.

I'm expecting it to basically be like that latest Star Trek movie. Khaaaaaaaaaaan. Not terrible. Solidly mediocre. Better than the prequels. But what isn't.
