6800xt looks good on paper, need some actual benchmarks though. I'm sure in the real world it's probably -10% from what AMD had on stage.

Definitely need to wait for independent benchmarks, but if they turn out to be pretty accurate and actually have stock to sell, this could be great.

availability is the only thing I could see why anyone would grab the 6800 instead.

Just because rasterization performance is the same does not mean that they should be priced the same.
