Info is out and it looks good for AMD. This could be the first AMD card I have owned since I got rid of my voodoo 2 for a Radeon about 20 years ago. Great for the market for Nvidia to finally have some competition, plus fuck them after that shitty paper launch.

At this point if reviews confirm AMD's numbers, this is great for the industry.
It seems that AMD is releasing cards to compete almost perfectly with the 3070, 3080 and 3090 at similar price point. More memory on the 6800 and 6800XT with 16GB compared to 8GB and 10GB form 3070 and 3080 respectively. On the other they offer less memory with only 16GB for the 6900XT than the 24GB on the 3090, but at $500 less.
It looks like availability will decide who wins this generation.
They mentioned that pairing a 6000 series GPU with a 5000 GPU will provide increased performance, I wonder how much that will be.

I don't have PTSD. I stopped tracking them a couple weeks ago.
But cherry-picking a single game and saying "but this one is good"... sure, ok. One game has raytracing that is worth it. I never claimed I played every RTX game.

So were those numbers AMD put up matched with the 500 series mobo and the new Rizen chip to utilize the SMA? I keep seeing that could add 10% to the numbers so if you don't match up AMD those cards are less powerful. SO you have to build a whole new system to utilize an AMD card. Seems kinda weird.
