Yeah I dunno what the deal is. Local for me is actually the Chattanooga store. The site said I could do curbside pickup next Thursday, until I click the TAKE MY MONEY button, then it says no and wants to send me to either Knoxville or near Atlanta.

yes, you usually try to run at 60-70% because those last few % don't bring enough mining power to warrant the massively increased power output. Better run more cards

Wouldn’t you only expect FPS increase with a GPU change? I thought CPU effect on FPS was minimal at higher resolutions.Got my 5900x yesterday. Replaced the 3700x. 0 fps increase in Cyberpunk.
But seeing as I got 80% of the money back from my 3700x sale it's all good.

Yeah surprisingly my 1080 TI is still getting 105-110 FPS on my 27 inch 1440p Asus monitor in games like Warzone etc

Yep, have the same card and for the gaming that I do, it would be fine. I just really want DLSS, as it's such a huge boost for the newer games. If I had a 2000 series card that could do DLSS, I feel like you could limp that card along for another couple of years because of DLSS alone.

I sold on a Swedish nerd tech forum. I see the 3700x sell for around 250-290 euro (new price around 340 euro). I got 270 euro or just about, sold some ram also in a bundle.

Yea I did not expect much of an improvment with a 3080 in the case, it was more of a "I want this generation cpu and gpu" thing. I did notice some better performance in AC Valhalla though. Not tried Watchdogs yet, it seems it used the cpu more than gpu for some reason.

Forgot to mention OC’d in 1080p it hits 144 in most games on medium and most single players on high/ultra. I play FPS so I don’t want ultra on anyways. Once I went to 1440 for shooters it was perma rip to 1080p (unless your going for 240+ FPS)
I’d like the 3000 series just for the 20-(maybe 30) frames boost but it’s not that big of a deal. I just want the freaking card like a lvl 1 needs GEBs day one TLP to show off at Noob log.

I haven't even OC'ed my GPU. I should download MSI Afterburner or learn EVGA's Precision X1 software to make it easy? I also game at 1440p, and plan on building a new computer, but yea.
