I had a few folks chuckle at the fact that I ordered a very solid $1900 pre-built with a 3080 last month.
I saw the writing on the wall and now you can't even build the same system yourself for less than $2300.

It is basically the same thing that’s AMD was using for AMD Graphics + AMD CPU wasn’t it? And those improvements were marginal. Doesn’t mean NVIDIA hasn’t done it better I suppose! Just funny that it was probably something they could have activated the whole time but only cleared when AMD showed it.

They could change, but I think they don't give a fuck. Overnight drops leads me to believe it's the warehouse unloading the trucks overnight and putting the cards into stock.

I bet the moment they get unloaded they are scanned which sets off an assortment of automated processes, including updating the stock of the item

Sounds logical. I'd slip em a 20 if they'd wait til 7am or so for a change though. I need my beauty sleep more than I need a video card (at the moment, we'll see how Im feeling about that statement if Im still on the hunt for another week or two)

I think all major crypto fags (people who run the farms, play the market etc) should be rounded up, and every third one put against the wall and shot. The rest would then be given an option to either stop being a colossal dickweed or be executed. And the gpu shortage problem would disappear.

Well, card acquired, or at least ordered. Ended up breaking down and having to buy one of those stupid bundles newegg has been putting up. Got the Gigabyte Aorus 3090 and a psu that i dont need at friggin all on the way.
Edit - nm, cancelled the order. In no way did i feel good about spending nearly $2200 total after tax and shipping on a video card. Ill just be patient until i can get a 3080, the 3090s are just...no.
