Mate bought a 2070 from Amazon warehouse, he was gloating to me that he paid 60% of the cost of mine. That fucker started artifacting after 2-3 months lol. Weird as fuck at the time too as he said it came from Ukraine or some place odd in Eastern Europe (we are both in the UK).
No question there are bargains on the Amazon Warehouse like cases with small imperfections and what have you. I bought a Samsung monitor in 2011 from the warehouse and that's still attached to my Dad's pc and going strong.
Not worth it for top end stuff imo.

Monitors seem to be hit or miss in general. I lifted a Dell 30" 2560x1600 display from work that is dated like 2008 and it's running perfectly fine on my wife's computer, on the other hand I've seen insane numbers of Dell 22" FHD displays have massive off-color issues, sometimes even to the point where they just turn blue forever that are dated 2013...

Bought a Dell 24" 2407 WFP Ultrasharp for $700 back in 2007. I still use it as a side monitor and it still is better than commodity monitors you can get today. Runs way hotter though!

Even the 34" gaming monitor I bought a year ago for $763 (which is better in basically every other respect) has more trouble with really dark scenes.

Yeah I'm sure there are a lot of displays with superior low-light contrast. I've just never seen one in person that can handle this problem:
better than my ol' 2407 WFP. When I used those game config UIs where you slide the bar left or right and stop when you can differentiate all the images I could often move it all the way to the dark and still see them all.

I just sold 2 FEs for 800 each local - I have a white zotac 3070 coming in i will toss up for 850 - My goal is still to land some 3080 FEs on the next BB drop

The white zotac was 659 i think - i generally add $200 to any card to sell - this is why i wouldnt even try a 3090 as the price is already stupid - i can sel 6800XTs for 900-950 so those technically sell better so long as i can get the ref model at $650. People still sleep on the 6800XT but considering not many people play at 4k anyways its still the best imo for non DLSS/RT gaming which is generally most games.
The best cards to sell for profit will be the FEs until those take a price hike too.
