I signed up for a bunch of different cards across the board and Ive got that same kind of email multiple times. I dont even understand why half the time, cause some of the shit is just a SKU change and thats it.Just got an Email from Bh Photo to let me know there is an update on the cards I want when available. They have all been discontinued.....

Prebuilts are generally bad but the core components are usually solid except for the ram that’s generally trash. The cpu and gpu are usually the good parts and everything else is rubbish. The CLX systems just seem way overpriced, I’d have to eye them down more but at the price I see them at you can build better even using an aftermarket gpu.

Most of us did this. ROG Strix prebuilts are straight fire. Love mine, although mine is probably higher end than most people would spend.

Great price depending on the MOBO/RAM. Which is why the ROG premades tend to be the best buys. You get quality everything.

Their cases are absolutely horrible. Tried to put a 1070 in my ifes older Alienware that had a 970 and the case was so fucking tiny inside a normal size card wouldn't fit (970 in it was one of those tiny ones). Their cases are from like the early 2000s with a plastic shell on them to make them look cool.

Honestly I bought an Alienware back in April and it's been great. I ended up adding thermal paste to the 3080 because I let it mine eth while I'm at work and it's already completely paid for the system. That being said, it's definitely a ridiculous case with terrible design decisions, in particular the small size requiring a custom (shorter) 3080 and the swing arm power supply creating poor airflow. Even though it's basically a space heater, it's been rock solid any more importantly it was in stock and priced quite a bit lower than similar prebuilts.
