2-1B/DRX likewise ordered for Vader's helmet to be waxed with woodoo hide in the hopes that the resulting shine would distract Palpatine from the shortcuts they were forced to implement during the surgery.

I'm sorry, what?

Watch the Red Letter Media video I linked above, it's hilarious and will inform you about the sort of autism we are dealing with here.

They should just have random things in the show shine or sparkle in every scene to distract from glaring plot holes and dumb fuck decisions.

Maybe really bright console lights that blink aggressively

Brits don't care about continuity or polish. I mean, their most famous Sci-fi just shit on 60 years of its own continuity and they have been having wakandans playing the queen in historical movies/shows for a while now. Amplify that by Chris's retardation and you end up with this derail.

It's a stupid derail, if his suit changed from ANH -> TESB -> ROTJ, then there's no reason his suit in this has to be the same as ANH, it can easily change in the next ten years.

I would actually laugh hysterically if Jogger ends up inflicting damage on Vader's suit, thus providing a continuity reason for his suit to change. lmao

This is like being handed an actual shit sandwich and then proceeding to type up an exasperated screed about the pattern of the sesame seeds on the bun being askew.

If you really insist on period accuracy, Vader's costume in ANH looked like shit. It was a budget-limited conglomeration of rubber that is full of obvious imperfections, which are especially evident in the modern versions in 4K HDR. But I suppose that woulda been fine as long as the stitching on his cod-piece was correct.

Changing clothes or equipment between movies and TV shows set in different years is not a continuity error.

Continuity errors are costume changes within a scene due to cutting things together or between scenes when no costume change could have happened due to the context of the scenes.

The only meaningful continuity with Vader's suit between movies is Rogue One to A New Hope, if you were complaining about differences there then I still wouldn't care because it's a black suit but at least it would be a valid complaint.

The other stuff you reference I also hate and is nothing to do with this. Did you watch the RLM video I linked? They are making fun of you.

Literally is the definition of continuity error, if future outfits are worn in past periods. Would a spiderman prequel where Tom Holland has the nanotech spidersuit be a continuity error if it was set prior to Homecoming? Yeah fuck right off with that retardation. You set off this derail with your usual combination of stubborn retardation and goal post shifting.

And I honestly don't really give a shit about the suit, but its part of a broader issue (highlighted in many other ways) of how the new writers clearly did not study the source material at all. See also Nu Trek for this kind of faggotry. They were so busy trying to cram THE MESSAGE into a show they never bothered to make sure their shit lined up with exiting continuity. The suit is just one minor part of the whole problem.

Faggot.

Your mistake is beliving that Vader's minor costume changes are established and permanent somehow.

Spiderman's nano suit is part of the plot of the movies, so of course seeing it in a prequel would be a huge problem. Vader's belt buckle or whatever the fuck triggered you is not.

Is there a canon comic book written by balless faggot Pablo Hidalgo about how he got a new upgraded Sith gauntlet at a specific time? Please explain what is causing the trantrum, I guess I missed it pages back.

Those two things are not remotely the same. The nanotech suit was a clear and story-driven evolution for the character. No one who isn't a Star Wars ubernerd has any clue that the little blinky lights and buttons and jock straps on Vader's outfit received light alterations across the movies. He never actually "did" anything with any part of his suit. All of it was just passive life-support gimmickry in the movies. This show is also like 10 years distant from any of the films, so there could be any variety of reasons for him to rotate shit around on his outfit during that period. This is easy enough to wave away in ways that makes sense. Unlike, you know, all of the actually important shit that they totally botched.

Why are you still arguing about this. It obvious they didn't take ANY of what's been discussed the last few pages here into account when designing his suit. Any competent storyteller would say "hey, we should make darth's costume accurate" . I mean, is that even up for debate? They didn't, because they didn't give a shit. If people want to call them out on that have at it. You acting like "durr can't someone change their clothes and put on slight variations of a life support system" is dumb. If there are variations that combine two different , period distinct, costumes ... it is due to laziness and bad design. Of course it is a continuity error. You can argue people harping on this are wasting their time, but you can't act like this was anything other than retarded lazy design.

Period distinct!?

Please describe the technological advancements that happened between Ep4 and Ep6 that make his Kenobi suit seem so incorrect for the Kenobi time period. Get your Star Wars encylopedia out faggot.
