It will kinda change as the season will progress. The goal is probably 2500 should be average. There is a huge debate on reddit. But as of right now 2200 seems to be average for now. Lots of people are curently on losing streak as I can see. Good players that ranked lower are climbing up slowly and people that have been ranked higher are losing ranks really hard.

I play 1 or 2 competitive match per night. We have formed a team of coworkers and none of us really was in a team before. We test stuff in QP then move in comp we are improving. Yesterday we went with 4 of our members and we beated really hard a 6 man team.

Anyway it's much better to play comp with friends. I tried solo in S1 it was kinda harsh as a support player. Since the Genji nerf it's much easier to play support. Both Lucio and Zen ult last as long as Genji's ult. You can effectively counter him now.

I was looking at my stats on overbuff. It help a lot to notice what are your strength and weakness as each character. I play a very agressive Zen averaging 11k damage and 24 elim per comp game but my healing is kinda average. My Lucio stats are kinda not accurate cause 2-3 games I had I was kinda useless. We were owning the other team hard and all I could do was speed boost... My offensive assist is through the roof.... So far this season I did not had any 27k healing match as I did in S1 with Lucio.

I can play Mercy but i hate playing her. Too much passive, I like Ana. I'm practicing her but I'm not ready to play her in comp. I also play other characters but since I play more with a team I try to focus on my role.

Question about tournaments.

Why is it always the same teams? This is the same with Hearthstone. Are there not amateur teams out there that could compete?

You could say the same about any pro esport. You have your tier 1 teams, then you have everything else.

Many are open tournaments. Its just that this game requires an enormous amount of practice and coordination so it is very, very difficult for a lesser skilled newer team to take out a titan.

I'd like to see Joe Schmoe teams!
They exist, just get knocked out in preliminaries.

In other news, met seagull and talked with him for a good 30-40 minutes. Think it helped I knew ptr from the csgo nrg team.

2 wins 11 losses since I finished ranking. BTW to turn on nerdvoices, you have to hit P and click some tiny icon. Doesn't really help though.

How could "lots of people be on a losing streak". Are they waiting and taking turns losing to the same few ppl?

had some bad games today as well My last game, i got gold in elim/obj/damage with mei. I know she got buffed, but i also had a reaper/mcree/rein on the team. They were terrible, no way that should ever happen.

edit- just had another great one /sarcasm. Im like we need an offensive character, so dude yells at me, what about you?, why dont you play one! I'm like hey retard, im the only tank! lol so of course they didnt switch and we lost. THen he ask's what happened? im like you guys are stupid is what happened. lol

I don't know why but I did the error in S1 to try to play solo/duo during second week and it was hellish. Lost 10 match in a row. I was unlucky and had bad team composition, salty players etc... Then after that it seems things get better I mostly meet people that was trying to rank up.

I don't care losing in solo queue if my team at least try and we have a decent group comp. I have a clip at home from S1 where my team had a Bastion, Sym, Torb and Widow on offense. My Lucio: Look at this team, we're gonna do great...

I ended the night last night with a punishing phara game. I never died, and got 55 kills. We pushed the payload to the end on king's row, then held the enemy on the first point. I felt bad for them.

BTW I finally remembered to start "prefer player" good people. The odds of matching up with them again are slim, but worth a try.
