She could stop abilities like Rein's charge with her shield bash on a 4-5 sec cooldown.

It was extremely OP.

If I recall properly you could tank DVa bomb with shield and stun her when she tried to call her mech.

Emongg just asked about battle passes being permanent like Rivals, and he said it's only a small part of the playerbase that wants that. What a joke that he thinks that.

What erks me the most.. i'm not sure that they've changed this, but it's not even a self-sustaining battle pass(premium currency within the bp).. not even a percent of return revenue; and they won't do it?

They haven't changed it. Rivals does the same thing though so I can't nail them over the head with it.

My biggest issue with his answer is you buy the BP to get those skins. He wants to leech off those people who didn't complete the BP and in hopes they double dip. He hopes those people buy the skin when they put it into the shop once that BP ends. It's why he gave the answer he gave because he doesn't want to give the real reason.

Well rival gives you some odd, 60% of your value back.. and an even smaller portion for free if you didn't even purchase it. Though it'd take like 10 BP to buy one, and can be arguably "predatory" since you will always have a pocket of change just out of reach of something.. but if their logic is that I get to keep the BP and work on it at any point.. on top of getting 60% of what i've spent on it.. pretty okay with it. I just don't like any sort of return, even if just a discount to the next BP.. they just put extra currency bloat for more trinket and bobbles, and that just isn't all that engaging.. Didn't buy into Valorant, or OW despite playing a good bit of it.


But yeah, its a pretty PR answer. It feels that they're striving for the psychology of fomo with the BP which makes grinding it out a second job more or less, and/or forcing game engagement.. I think it was the first? season with the Cyber Genji, we had all quit half way through.. and my friend had to drag himself to grind it out because he wanted the Genji skin.

Personally, while not exactly a BP.. I think Helldivers 2 has the best model in regards to content grind packages.

The perks are actually going to be in pro play next weekend

Played a tiny bit of support yesterday. I'm 7-2 so far on my placements.

Perks are truly game changing. Level 2 can take a while to get and it's good as the match progress you can feel how the game is evolving when the team start having multiple perks activated. I do see a lot less counter swap. Counter swapping put you on disadvantages. You can still swap but I would suggest 1 player at the time.

Has strange as it sound I'm happy to see the loot box. From my understanding you can get everything before to the current season. You can't buy thems but you get thems as you play the season. They said you can get to 100 free lootbox per season if you complete all the objectives.

Will finish support placements and try dps after.

Korean pro stuff just started. I've never seen a team die so fast. First fight was over in 2 seconds.

Seems like the lethality went up big time.

Hmm I'm on map 3 now. That first fight was a fluke, it really isn't that different. Need a long push map or something.

I fell asmeep but catching up, and even on a super long havana into overtime, nobody got to the level 3 perks. Is it time based?

There is just 2 levels of perks. Usually on escort map you barely get the second perk if the round ends before they captured the payload.
