So first week is over. I'm happy OWL is back as I enjoy it quite a bit.
It seems to have done well with viewership around 200K for the 5 days for the 6+ hours it was on.
I didn't watch all of it, maybe 8-10 games, and not necessary all matches. The level of coordination these teams have is amazing, and it's the part I enjoy the most.
Obviously there was too much GOATS, but you could see that a lot of teams don't want to play it, they tried something else but often had to fall back to it because it's so reliable.
From what I saw, the new teams seems to be competitive, I was afraid they would not be since most of the talent was already in existing team, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I think the season will be fun to watch with a lot of teams being very close to each other.
Will the Shanghai Dragons win a game this season after being 0-40 last year, and starting 0-2 this year.
I hope they fix GOATS for stage 2. It wouldn't take much really as teams don't want to play it. They'd switch fast the moment other stuff is as competitive.
