Thats paleo logic so dont worry. They want to emulate the diet of cavemen but consume refined/manufactured oils(butter, olive oil) no problem.
post a video of those hippies who follow a real diet.

Tips and recipes bro.

Either way you will lose weight, if the net caloric output is negative.
And again this is the type of comment that leads to repeated failure. Yes congratulations, you've regurgitated the conservation of energy as it applies to diet and think you've got it all covered. And that's as far as your brain wants to go because it gets hard when things get complicated. Yeah you can lose weight with caloric restriction and will you be healthy? Will the weight come back? Most people gain back the weight they lose in most diets.

So hey, maybe there is something people are missing. Now a slightly more thoughtful individual would expand their calorie in/out with the whole "toxic" environment argument. This is the argument that people are fat because there is more cheap junk food around, McDonalds and Coke and candy etc, and we have more disposable income to spend on this food.. And we're more sedentary, more video games, cars, desk jobs.

Pretty compelling argument, until you start to look at other groups of people who were very obese and had no money, no junk food, and were physically active. Or people who switch to the western diet and suddenly get increases in heart disease and diabetes.

Then you might start to think, as I do, that maybe it's the sugar and processed flour and grains. Certainly the sugar. But hey good luck on your coldstone creamery diet.

I love that you keep talking about "health" but are pushing the paleo diet.

Adebisi, how dare you question stupidtouch? He's a "biochemist/lipid researcher." Can't you tell from the way he speaks beautifully and masterfully about these topics?

Dude, let it die already, just shut up. I am sure you walk around year round at 8% bodyfat, run a 4.4 40 yard dash and bench 400lbs, and your blood work is perfect, and I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU. If Paleo works for you, I couldn't be happier, but stop peddling the shit like you are a Jehovah's Witness. You are preaching to a forum of video game nerds, how much success do you really think you are going to have? For every 1 person who is a member on this site there are 9 who have never exercised a day in their life. 23 pages of nonsense.
