Has a proper accounting of how much money was raised, and who that money was paid out to, ever come out? Whether from Brad or from the rest of the team?I don't know how it's slander when what's being said was made public from a member of the team.
There are legitimate questions being raised. Hiding behind this lawyer talk will only make things worse and cast even more doubt to this project. Whatever tho.. I think the damage has already been done, and it wasn't the team or community that caused it.
No, he wont show it. We got a rough run down from Salim tho.Has a proper accounting of how much money was raised, and who that money was paid out to, ever come out? Whether from Brad or from the rest of the team?
Where is that? I'm curious! No, he wont show it. We got a rough run down from Salim tho.
.SAw the rough draft for the video!!! I know why you took so long now... you are a perfectionist!I can tell a perfectionist a mile a way as I am one myself. For a rough draft it is looking great! The graphics put Shroud of the Avatar (which is already in Alpha) to shame! This is why I stayed on board, I knew even if the road was rough (as was with Vanguard) the product would still be epic!
Brad-I agree if there is another kickstarter.... I would donate again.... although there should be options for those of us who are already pledged to upgrade or something....
We should learn from our mistakes in the original kickstarter as well though.
Those are indeed very real concerns. We are looking at kickstarter and indiegogo.
A couple of things are certain (and good):
1. We have soooo much more to show now.
2. If we do this, we will build it WITH YOU GUYS. The community will have access to the site and help build it with us to make sure it's clear, concise, comprehensive, etc.
Brad might want to hire better attorney's that know the difference between slander and libel. What a fucking moron.
You have to listen to it.Where is that? I'm curious!
That would make sense. Brad disappears but Nirrtix never goes away! No in all reality it's a fangirl who idolizes him. When you feel that way about someone, there is little they can do to change it.At this point, I am pretty sure Nirrtix = Brad
I just deleted a thread I shouldn't have started. When you hear from a high profile industry exec that the rumor is that you took all of the money and paid your team nothing, it gets your attention. When team members want to come back but are being pressured and berated not to, it gets your attention. It also makes you worry not just about the project, but about people's ability to get jobs in the industry (not just talking about me at all).
That said, it's the Internet. All I can do is be honest, get people excited, and (finally -- I waited too long) post evidence of all the work the team had accomplished, starting even before they were being paid.
Again, I apologize -- it got to me for a moment, but I'm back and just drank another stone skin potion
